Here we are at 6:38 am, and the review wants words. Greeted upon arrival, room was ready. Very nice old building....situated at the top of the hill. There are a lot of options for dining nearby. This concludes my words.

Would definitely stay here again. The room was nice and the mattress was comfortable. And it is very close to the university. The only drawback was not enough sound insulation from the local and city traffic, I’d suggest to bring ear plug/sound machine if your a lite sleeper.

Overall great stay!

Overall we had a great stay here for just a night in town for a soccer tournament. I had filtered out hotels that had a pool and somehow this one slipped through but it does not have a pool. I also filtered by hotels that included free breakfast, this hotel has a restaurant but breakfast is not free. The hotel was very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The Starbucks espresso machine was broken which was a bummer for an early morning soccer game. Biggest complaint was the noise from the street bikes, very loud in the room when heard from the street. The front desk receptionists were very friendly and check-in was super quick and easy. Very good stay overall.

Beautiful

We stayed here for a night after moving up to STL as our friends were hosting a St. Patrick's day party. The bed killed my hips and back, it was really firm, but that's with most hotels. The front desk manager was very kind and let us check in early. The interior and the hallways are beautiful, keeping the historic architecture. It's in the perfect spot downtown to walk to all your favorite little shops.
