Incompetent staff member

The room was clean and comfortable. However one of the staff didn't really have a clue what they were doing We (my partner and me) arrived on Friday night for two nights to check out on Sunday. The lady at the check in desk only took the city tax for one of us upon arrival which forced us to have to wait around at check out and pay the other persons (despite the fact I paid in advance and checked in for a smoother checkout) As well as this, the same colleague who made this blunder also only activated our door card for one night so again we had to go and bother other members of staff to reactivate it because of her mistake Aside from this, the cleanliness, location and general presentation of this ibis was good. It even has YouTube and Netflix on the TV so we had things to watch in the evenings

Check in was quick and easy an the staff were kind and helpful. Tram stop right outisde hotel. Quiet, clean and safe. Unfortunately, for the price i expect an electric kettle and fridge in the room, our room had neither. Pillows were absolutely shocking

No privacy in room

Shower is in the room. This needs to be much clearer and isn’t great if sharing with your teenage son! Mirror opposite the shower door. V little privacy. Otherwise all great. Nice breakfast. Friendly welcome.

The rooms were clean and the hotel is close to a tram station. However, the bathroom is right inside the room, which just has one glass door with no privacy; so travelling with a companion can be tricky. Does not have a lot of amenities but you get what you pay for.

BEST BARGAIN IN ZURICH

Zurich is a pricey city, so this is a real find. Not a luxury or business-class hotel (for that, use the regular ibis next door), but a marvelous bargain for staying in Zurich with a quick, convenient tram connection into the city. Nice shower and (separate) toilet, with a separate sink out in the sleeping area.

Great location, just outside the city centre but had a good tram connection Room was clean and fairly comfortable, but it would be nice to have more than one pillow thickness as it was too flat for one of us and too thick for the other person

Arrived at the hotel at mid night to check in only to be told by the receptionist that the hotel was overbooked and they would send us to another hotel. The hotel they sent us to was not even in the city, so for a hotel we chose primarily based on location ruined our stay in Zurich. No attempt to offer any kind of refund other than offering a free taxi to the replacement hotel was offered. When we checked in at the replacement hotel they said that we weren't the only ones this happened to. The following day we were rudely awakened from the staff with a fiery knock on the door, apparently there was a problem with our rooms, we went down to reception to clear it up, apparently the original hotel didn't provide our passport information we gave on arrival, again unprofessional service which you dont need on your holiday.

Small but convenient location

Angela & Sara were very kind & accommodating. Room was very small but very clean. The train is across the street so it was very easy to get around. Breakfast didn’t have a big variety but it was decent. I would consider staying here again

Eco double room sleeps 3. Double bed and bunck bed . Shower room seperated with glass door . Inside the room. Toilet has normal door. No cattle. Sink only. Buy before you fome to Switzerland chargers!. Their are different then in Eu. Theres 2 USB charing point in a tv. We used thoes.
