A space to reflect on where you failed in Life
Didn’t sleep in the capsule despite paying for it. Unless you like the feeling of being in a coffin but I guess it wasn’t for me as confined spaces are not my thing. I thought I would get an entire room but the rooms are literally stuck up just like the compartments used to freeze dead bodies. I really need to end this review here if you are a risk taker then I guess this is for you 🙂
This is a capsule. So if you come looking for a bed, you will be disappointed. But if you want a good work space, clean place to sleep and great staff, welcome home. I really enjoyed my time. A long layover became a shower, meal, and good night sleep. Thank you!
If you’re traveling solo or need somewhere quick to snooze, this was a pretty solid place to go. Wish there was an in person checkin rather than a tablet. Other than that pretty solid
This was my first time staying at a hotel of this type. The check in was very easy as I did it myself in the kiosk at the front door. Once I got my pin, I headed to the capsule. I recommend downloading the app to open the doors because it was a bit hard opening when using the combination on the doors. It was very clean, including commons areas. I felt safe walking in the hall sways.
Very clean, stylish capsule hotel with a super convenient location for travelers. It definitely has hostel vibes with a lounge and bar and people hanging out, but luckily the noise didn't reach the capsule rooms. That said, it's still a capsule hotel (essentially glorified bunk beds), and you will definitely hear everyone else in the room. All the midnight and early morning alarm clocks were the worst part. Even so, this was definitely more comfortable than the capsules I've stayed in in Japan, and the concept is very special.
It was difficult to find by following the signs of the airport. And using the physical door codes didn’t quite work right so the smart phone app was needed.
Otherwise it was a bed with enough space to sit up and showers were available.
Luggage and shoes needed to be placed under the capsule in the communal space.
This was a great place to stay, comfortable, and convenient. Very good considering you are sleeping in a box but it didnt feel like it at all as it was spacious. Only suggestion is that there should be a way to control the air flow as I found it a bit warm. I had a small fan with me so that worked well to move the air.
The last turn we had to make was a little unclear. Kind of a dead end with some elevators to the right. Walk was a little more than expected. At 4:30 am the bathroom was out of clean bathmats, but not that big of a deal..overall a great solution for my situation AND that of the 18 year old stuck overnight due to the global IT crisis of 7/19/24, who had been seated next to me when our flight was cancelled (twice)!
First time in a capsule. Not bad at all! Would be cool to have A/C controls in the capsule.

Bad Experience at Capsule Hotel (Zurich)
I felt that I was cheated. When I was booking my reservation via hotels.com, the picture of the “room”(?) that was shown was fully misleading. In reality it was a dorm/bunker where the occupant has to climb inside a box and sleep. I have never had such a bad experience in staying in a “hotel”. The person (host) at the front desk just cheekily told me that ‘capsule’ hotel meant a hotel but rooms are all like capsules. Well, I was mighty surprised and to me it seemed like a fraud/scam. My three day stay at Zurich was most unpleasant. I would caution anyone willing to stay in this damn hotel near the Zurich airport to develop a supple body before paying for the stay. I am planning to take legal action on this. I felt that I was cheated, because I did not have the correct information
