Gym comp stay

We stayed for 1 night for a gymnastics competition. I called a couple days ahead to get a late check out which was easily accommodated. Check in was quick and easy. The room was very comfortable and a great size. Pool area is also great, nice to have a separate waterslide. My daughter and her gym friends loved the lemon water in the lobby. Check out was also easy.

Stayed with family for an event nearby. There was also a kids hockey tournament the same weekend. Unfortunately the parents were too busy drinking to actually pay attention to the commotion the kids were making. The noise in the halls on a scale of 1-10 (1 being quiet) was a 10 even past 11pm. The kids were running through the halls yelling and screaming. We called front desk at 10pm and they said it was dealt with yet it didn’t stop. Would have been nice if staff had actually addressed the issue. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection for being included and was restocked accordingly. Pool was good when hockey team wasn’t around. Hotel itself had no issues to be bothered by.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and stocked with a mini fridge and there was a microwave in the kitchen. Other guests were LOUD throughout the nights and somewhere in the building a dog was barking in the early hours of the morning - however this is not the staffs fault. My only two complaints- Water slide is only open from 4pm-10pm. A fact that made my kids quite sad as the pool Is open 9am-10pm. The hot tub was a little gross. The breakfast options could be expanded. There is a pancake maker and toasters - but limited toast and only whole wheat bagels and cereal. There were hot options, but again limited. Would Love to see more breakfast options - More yogurt varieties, and restocked more often as some of the items were stale. Otherwise the staff were kind and helpful. The cleaning staff were polite. The workout room Had a broken treadmill unit, but other options and some weights. The hotel was great for walking to restaurants and stores. Lots of parking available.

The elevator was down and we didn't get a call stating it was and we're on the third floor with our 2 little kids. There was a hockey team there and the children were extremely loud. Running up and down the hallways. The pool was overcrowded also while the parents drank. It was very hard to enjoy ourselves.

The hotel was a bit smelly - almost like smoke. When we arrived the elevator was down, which isn’t a big deal unless you’re a goalie mom and have a lot of equipment to haul, and then the pool Got closed down…with no discount!

Dirty floor, could use a deep clean. There was food crumbs on the floor right by the bed side. Elavator hasnt been working for a long time, room was $40 per night more then my stay at a different hotel the night before. Disappointed and expected better

Room heater started to off gas burning plastic during the night. Unable to sleep with this happening. Elevator out of service, no notice given on listing. Not all parking spots had plug in for block haters. Not all users of the ones with plugs were using them. Priorotze the needs of your customers.

I found the front desk staff not as helpful as on previous visits. And found the Saturday evening desk person, Paul, extremely not helpful. Will call the manager on Monday to discuss some other issues that arose.
