The location of this hotel was amazing, only a minute walk from the train station and the building is beautiful! The room was all you could need. Our tv was oddly placed tho which was a little annoying. They also incorporated a lot of ecofriendly alternatives.

We had a great stay. Beautiful building and a beautiful room. It’s attached to the train station, so dropping off your luggage is a breeze and you can get to exploring right away. It’s only minutes to walk to the Shambles or explore the wall around the city. The bed was super comfortable which nice after a long day of walking. We would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a visit to York.

Everything is good except the WiFi. Be prepared with your own data plan as there is no WiFi inside the room. I stayed in 2nd floor in a Junior Suite in the main building, so if no stable WiFi for the suites in the main building, don't expect it to work elsewhere.

Convenient hotel

I was in York for a business trip and the Milner was close to the station and only a 5 minute walk from the city centre so a very convenient location. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and quiet and I enjoyed my short stay.

This property was dirty and lacked the wow factor which is expected. It was dirty unclean and overall lacked the love and attention needed to upkeep the property. I will never return and am highly displeased with not only the service but the property and management.
