The Indigo hotel york

When we arrived the accessibility of the hotel was great. The hotel was absolutely spotless and had everything you would need for a perfect stay. We had a luxury room and honestly could not fault it. The only change i would make is to include breakfast with the option to opt out rather than opt in.

Room was very clean. All the extras I asked the staff to include with the room for my partners birthday was included and the shower and bathroom were amazing. Lovely decorated room and very comfortable bed. Next time I'm in York, me and my partner will be staying here.

Expected better

Celebrating my mother’s 93 rd birthday and requested downstairs room which we got. The first thing we saw when entering her room no 8 was a hole in the net curtain ! Expected better of a four star hotel - as we were only there a few days we shut the heavy curtains and didn’t waste any of our time complaining.

Nice quiet hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of York. Lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel. Hotel parking and a public car park are a short walk away. Very friendly helpful reception staff, we arrived early, they held our luggage and transferred it to our room when it became available.

It's a lovely place so close to all city centre's attractions, clean, plenty of space. I thought it a bit money grabbing charging for parking,I suppose sign of the times everyone wants to cash in.

Nice hotel, got a friendly welcome from the reception staff and the room was lovely and clean with everything we needed and a massive comfy bed. Location is perfect for walking into town with plenty of eating options en-route.
