The rooms were clean, had everything we could ask for. Great checkin prompt and speedy and instructions where the room was. Check out was great and thanks for staying with bag storage for the day. The hotel comes with breakfast included this is where it could improve. It seemed that tables where not cleaned after guest left quickly and things ran out quickly maybe that it was a weekend the staff on duty where over stretched to keep on top of it all but apologised for delays.

Just stayed the 1 night, nice modern hotel in a nice area of York, very close to many of the main tourist attractions. Breakfast choice was limited though still good. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice room, really clean, big TV and great shower. Bed was a bit low, but otherwise room was excellent. Breakfast was good if a bit chaotic at times and the service was generally good & friendly (with the notable exception of one young waitress at breakfast, who has a poor attitude). Great location to explore York. Would happily stay here again.

Excellent well priced hotel

Lovely clean rooms and really comfortable beds All staff were very polite and friendly the reception staff were so helpful and friendly too. The hotel is ideally situated within easy walking distance to the shambles and the Cathedral there are also plenty of good eating places to eat at within easy walking distance I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and have never had to complain about anything

Couldn’t pay by cash. I do not like this ‘nanny state’ we live in where I’m being told to pay by card when I have cash which is the same monetary value. Won’t use another Hilton hotel again for this reason. Also I booked a queen bed suite & received a double bedded room
