The cleanliness overall was good. Breakfast was OK, would like to be able to have a choice of milk to go with cereal eg. Whole and nut milk. The fruit juices were tasteless,diluted too much.

Was very okay. Breakfast wasnt great but wasnt terrible, staff try very hard though. Rooms were clean. Had an accessible room which wasnt ideal being 6'3". Didnt realise it was for disabled people until I got there. Read about spurious fire alarms in the reviews before we went which they havent seemed to fix as we had a 20 second fire alarm activation at 5am on the first night of our stay which caused alot of ambiguity. My room had a door to join to the room next to it. The door had a deadlock which I kept in place but the people in the room next to us kept trying the door to see what was inside which was quite off-putting, especially late at night. The stay was £460 for 3 nights which seems steap for a budget stay although that may be the going rate for a stay in York. The hotel is situated right in town which is brilliant.

The mini fridge was a very welcome addition to the room, ideal for fresh milk, fruit and soft drinks in the evenings. the buffet breakfast was open over four hours and covered every taste. Excellent value

The hotel was in a great location with just a 5 minute walk we were in the centre of York The check in was quick, friendly and efficient Our room was very quiet and clean the beds were comfy too. Breakfast had a varied choice with something for everyone. Would I stay here again? Yes definitely 😁

Brand new and very high standard. Beautifully designed and decorated. Room was ready early so we were able to check in before 3pm. Particularly loved the air conditioning and fridge in room.
