Good stay
Very pleasant rooms in a new block at the back of the building. The guy who runs it was very friendly and helpful, breakfast is worth the money if you need it in the morning, but the best thing is the location, a couple of minutes from the Minster, and having the ability to wander round the middle of York even when most people have gone home. The Taas Nepalese restaurant just over the road is really good.

I found the property to be in poor condition, my room was dusty and the bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned. The remote for the TV stopped working and I couldn’t find any staff member to assist me (it wasn’t late).
