This was my second time to stay at the Sotetsu Fresa. It is super convenient to Yokohama station so it is easy to go to local shopping, Yokohama Chinatown. or even Kamakura. The rooms are super clean- as are most Japanese hotels, and my rooms was relatively spacious comparing to other Japanese hotels. Some reviewers have commented on the train noise. I stayed on the 13th floor, and while I could hear the trains, they weren't loud enough to keep me from getting a good nights sleep, and I'm a light sleeper. The train noise is simply the price for the convenience of the hotel. I'd stay at this hotel again.

I got a room on the 14th floor - very nice, clean, with options to have my towels changed, or everything changed, or nothing changed over the 2 days I stayed there. I did not mark "quiet" for the property in case there are people who would be very annoyed by the sound of the trains immediately next to the hotel - but I must say it was softer than an AC in many American hotel rooms I have stayed in. I had no trouble sleeping. The staff was very helpful - held my luggage for me when I went shopping. It is 4 minutes by walk from the Yokohama train station - which I used extensively (to get to the hotel from Haneda, and back, to get to Kawasaki and back ... Lots of food options nearby! I would definitely stay there again.
