I had stayed there several times in the past and it is a very nice hotel, conveniently located next to the convention center. The room we had was ok, but not as great as you'd expect from this hotel. Breakfast is really great! The gym is only open from 8am to 9pm so it was useless for us (I'd go early in the morning or later in the evening).

Overall very good. The dining options were very limited and closed by 8pm. The lobby and hallways were over heated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The best thing was the excellent view of the harbour. To use the pool you need to pay to become a member. Not sure of the cost.

We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant one evening and I expected the servers to know a bit more about the menu and perhaps a little more proficient in English for non Japanese guests. The food was however delicious and authentic.

Great view, great location and breakfast buffet was amazing. We noticed staff at restaurant were less likely to tend to foreigners but other than that, we had a great experience.

It’s an old hotel and at one point all the rooms or at least the one we stayed in allowed smoking. Low ceilings. Outdated feeling. Not bad just not amazing.
