The staff was very friendly and homemade muffins for breakfast were very good. I can tell the owners take pride in their facility. I also loved the hanging baskets of flowers.

We checked in late and I had it arranged already with the front desk, they were very accommodating. The room was clean and sufficient. The only drawback is that they do not have in-room coffee makers. You have to go to a central room to get coffee, I would prefer to stay in my room for coffee, and there was no decaf. Also the ice machine did not work, but I was told that a new one would be arriving soon.

Great Place!
I would DEFINITELY stay at this place again. It was clean and comfortable. The manager was knowledgeable about all the local eateries and gave very good advice. The one draw back to this motel, and it IS NOT a problem with the motel, is good options in the city itself. After a certain time everything is closed.

This is a really nice place, but for $90.00 plus a night it is way over priced for a room. We knew the breakfast was banana bread and a granola bar but for the price there should be a hot breakfast. The staff was nice room's were clean. Once again we thought it was over priced.

First off, be sure to note that if you are going to arrive after about 8 PM, you should give the motel a call earlier in the day. This is because it’s family owned and the family does everything. I arrived after 10 and it was no problem, but we just needed to make arrangements so I would have a key. This is an absolutely lovely small motel. It’s unpretentious, clean, and lovingly tended. I’ve stayed in about 10 different motels during a long road trip this summer and this has been my favorite. The bed is comfy. The setting felt very safe, which is a priority for me as a solo female traveler. My room is charming, and I mean that not as a euphemism for run-down. It is simply charming – for real. I kind of wish I would’ve had time to spend a day in the area and spend a second night here.

Great place to stay
Check in was easy, very friendly. Room was clean, awesome water pressure on shower. Comfortable beds. Homemade banana bread for breakfast. Definitely would stay here for a week trip.
