Good location, good staff and rooms.

Hotel and the room was good, had everything I needed. My only gripe was the difference in pricing for parking - £20 for a reserved spot vs £10 to take a chance. I know it is published but, on arrival, this was a fairly large car park for residents only and I wouldn't have had an issue with getting a space. Probably worth it if you are arriving mid-evening bu I was there at 6pm and left at 9am. Good location for restaurants, the hotel gives you a list of recommendations if you enquire. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and central stay in Worcester

Comfortable stay in a central location, parking was free and very convenient at the back of the hotel in a secure car park. We did have a problem with no hot water in our room, but was given access to a neighboring room

Could do with a bit of modernizing, but secure parking and great location. Comfortable and spacious rooms, bathrooms a good size, hot water took a little while to come through. Communication and staff friendly and helpful.

I loved the hotel, the staff and the location of the hotel. Food was great quality as was the service across the board. It's very central and handy for city life. I will definitely come back to this hotel. The only minor problem was the condition of the changing rooms in the health club which was quite poor. The pool area is small but it has all the amenities that you would expect. All in all great vfm!

Poor Customer Service and Restaurant not Open

I stayed as part of a business trip and was disappointed. The room was fine. Lots of space but dated. At check in I was handed a letter detailing the opening hours of the gym and bar/restaurant which proved to be in accurate. I planned my stay around these times. When I entered the gym there was a not detailing that it shut at five which was not a problem. I used the gym which was decent enough, the pool was very small. After using the gym, getting showered and changed I went downstairs to eat to be told by the reception that it was closed. This wasn't detailed in the information sheet on arrival and they didn't tell me when I checked in. The team member at reception offered no apology and made me feel like it was my fault that the reception was closed. This meant I had to wander round Worcester looking for somewhere to eat. In the dark as a lone traveler i didn't have a clue. If the reception team had told me when i checked in, I would have gone out to eat when it was light and more places were open. I thought this was poor especially given the price i paid for an OK room. I think it was poor charging full price and not notifying me when i booked or checked in that the restaurant was closed. The fact that the team member at reception didn't really seem that bother made it worse.

Sadly, expectations not met

I booked this hotel, as it was closest to the venue we were visiting, but unfortunately, the room wasn't cleaned properly. I found a burger style wrapper under the desk area, a red bottle top between bed and side table and a broken arm off some sun glasses on the carpet close to the desk area. I left these on the side for the cleaner to see. There was only one coffee sachet, but reception were able to give me some extra sachets. One bed was comfy - it had a thicker mattress topper, the other bed not so comfy. Still had a lovely time and the hotel is central to the city centre and train station , so a great location.
