3.5-star Winthrop lodge with private beach
Ski into Sun Mountain Lodge, where you can relax in massage/treatment rooms, enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge, or have a meal at the restaurant. Housekeeping is available on request.
Sun Mountain Lodge offers 112 air-conditioned accommodations with espresso makers and safes. Beds feature premium bedding. This Winthrop lodge provides complimentary wireless Internet access.

Absolutely loved everything about our stay and every staff member that we met other than our course dinner that cost $300 that took four hours to complete there was two hours between the appetizer and the main course. They just need more staff.

Sun Mountain Lodge exceeded my expectations. I stayed for a birthday celebration and the staff went out of their way to make it special. We ate at the restaurant three times during our stay; the service and food was wonderful. Views were incredible. Our room was spacious and the fire place was extra cozy. Massage at the spa was great. Can’t say enough good things - I am excited to go back.

We absolutely loved this stunning lodge, breathtaking views, excellent service and the welcoming atmosphere! The red headed waitress was fantastic in the lounge and the cashier, Wendy, in your gift shop and Brent in the ski shop, were fantastic! I love hearing about the history of the Lodge, the builders, owners, etc and if I could encourage what is enjoyed by those who come, especially from out of the area, please keep the rustic, but elegant, country, family or couples welcoming hospitality. We don't come looking for city type stuff, but to get away from it all... thank you! What a dream! We will be back, for sure. This is our 2nd time coming and will bring our adult kids and grandkids back. Merry Christmas to you all!

The room was not really clean. curtains filthy and broken, window screens pusheed off at edges. the restaurant was closed and it took almost 2 hours to get food to table in thr bar once seated. not thr staffs fault. but thr room and curtains were so unacceptavle. we took pictures
