Convenient for downtown events
We came to Winnipeg for a NHL game. The hockey venue was only 1 block away. The staff was helpful and the room was excellent.

I had a 2 queen bed room booked for my son and a friend - when they checked in they were told they was only 1 bed in the room and then paid extra to upgrade to 2 beds???? This should be against regulation when 2 beds was reserved. Not happy.

We booked for three nights, for a conference off site. This property is under renovation and our initial room was missing a chair. Staff were very helpful and moved us to a renovated room. Unfortunately the area around the hotel is somewhat run down. There are some good restaurants within a few blocks, but walking alone after dark is not recommended. It would be helpful if the hotel provided some local information about where to go in the neighborhood.

Went to a Jets game and the hotel was in the perfect location- right across the street. Also a close 15 minute walk to the Red River, Winnipeg sign and Forks market. My only issue with the stay was being charged $20 for early check in. The room is ready- why can’t I just have the room? Very silly to have charged me for a room that I was going to get in a couple hours anyways.

Overall great for the price. Room was mostly clean. The only big negative was that the shower was cold and lukewarm at best. We had a great view from the 26th floor.
