Hotel/Guest House was nice enough and bed really comfortable, but the construction site adjacent began work at 8am - banging, hammering, drilling and loud music. The hotel must’ve been aware of this as the construction workers were using their car park. I feel that we should’ve been made aware of this beforehand and given us the opportunity to choose somewhere else.

Really convenient location and free parking. Made a good spot for an overnight stop as we were out for a meal. The room was small and fairly basic but not much of an issue as we were only sleeping there.

Great location
The owners were lovely but we were disappointed with the condition of the room. The hot water tap doesn’t work in the sink and there is no grab rails to get in and out of the shower/bath (which is slippy as there is not bath mat). It’s an old property so the windows are in need of attention (cracked glass pane) and there’s no option to get the window to stay open for ventilation so consequently there’s a lot of condensation and the room felt damp in the morning. A bit of updating and this place would be wonderful as it has free parking and a great location.

First time at the white lodge, we stayed in room 3 lovely spacious room , the bed was so comfy the room very clean, even had a sofa in , for the price was excellent, only stayed 1 night but would book again , very close to the shops , plenty of walking done , very pleased with our stay .
