So good we plan to return

Lakes hotel and Spa has exceeded our expectations in every way. The service was outstanding -the staff were so professional and friendly and went above and beyond; the room was lovely and clean with the added bonus of a hot-tub, the spa looked great though we didn't get a chance to enjoy it as stopped only 1 night. The food at Mizumi was delicious and the buffet breakfast catered to all dietary needs with plenty of options. We plan on returning soon. The location was great too, a 2 min walk to lake Windermere's Bowness ferry/boats and shops.

I stayed here last week for 1 night and it was amazing from start to finish. I received suck a personal and friendly welcome from Noel on the security gate, then received a lovely tour, prosecco in hand, from Mark. All the team members where lovely but I forgot to ask their names. I stayed in room 138 and I have to come back, the bed was so comfy ( where are the pillows from??) and the hot tub with that view.....heaven. I had room service which was yummy, a cocktail in the bar, used the spa and then the brekkie in the morning was yum. I cannot wait to come back, thank you all so much x

Fabulous hotel, highly recommended.

Hotel was fabulous in a good location a few minutes walk into the centre of Bowness. The apartment rooms are very spacious with good sized kitchen, living areas and bedrooms on a separate level. The hotel facilities are very good and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We are planning to return.

A lovely hotel which was decorated beautifully. Friendly staff. Patrick was great, showing us around and taking photos of us. Ben from the Cocktail bar was super friendly, chatting to us regularly. They have a separate Pub where the Spa is too which is great. The Spa was stunning with the ambience of the decor/ lighting. They have an Asian restaurant on site which we went to and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was great too. Our room had a balcony hot tub. We did have an issue with the jets and this was sorted somewhat but it must have had a fault as the bubbles didn’t even break the surface but we still enjoyed it. We had the hotels Bentley limousine take us into town on our anniversary which was a little special for us too. All in all a great 3 nights.

Perfect for a romantic getaway. Unfortunately our room was next to the cleaning room so we could hear the staff a lot, the view was also so the car park and agin could hear staff outside. Still an amazing stay and would recommend

High end luxury hotel, great service from everyone! The hotel restaurant was one of the best restaurants I’ve been too. All day spa was lovely and could use it all day. A few minutes to walk to town or take the Bentley free of charge! Amazing view from our balcony! Would highly recommend!

We have just got back from the most wonderful stay at Lakes hotel & spa in Windermere. As we arrived at the gatehouse, we were greeted by name, which was a lovely touch. We were greeted at the front door by the wonderful Patrick, who attended to our luggage and guided us to reception to check in with a welcoming glass of prosecco. As I had stated the stay was for my husband,s birthday to our delight we were treated to a room upgrade. Patrick took us on a guided tour of this beautiful hotel, which certainly had the wow factor. Then we were taken to our room, which was actually a suite, we were blown away. Every member of staff were super friendly, the place is stunning. We had dinner in The Mizumi, Asian fusion restaurant. Superb food and a lovely touch of a birthday dessert. We could ot fault a thing. Upon check out at 11am we could still use spa facilities until 1.30 pm, no rush to get us out, we wandered down to the lake, which is only a 2 min walk. Amazing hotel, will definitely be going back

Loved our two night stay at Lakes Hotel and Spa. We opted for the small double with hot tub and it was a sizeable, clean and gorgeous room with a view to the front, very impressed! Location is perfect; a 5 min walk to the windermere centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We walked to the marina (10mins) which is the opposite direction and would recommend a meal at the marina restuaurant. The hotel has a lovely cocktail terrace, restuarant, pub and oriental resturant. Breakfast in the main restaurant was lovely and we had dinner in the pub which was great. We made use of the spa facilities which were great too Thank you!
