We’ve just returned from celebrating my birthday weekend and we've had the best time ever. We truly did feel like a King and Queen for the weekend! All the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with the best views of Lake Windermere 😍 Thank you for an amazing stay Love from The Parr’s xx Just want to add we’ve been coming to Bowness for around 15 years to celebrate my birthday weekend but this was the first time staying at Belsfield as it’s also our 20th year of being Married (August). We have always admired it from afar and have stayed in surrounding accommodations but this weekend has blown all the accommodations out of the water. We have had the best weekend ever. Too old and the room is too small, there is no fridge in the room, there are hairs on the bedding sheet and quilt. The property is in renovation.

Always love staying at the Belsfield. So many good walks from the hotel including Brant Fell and the Dalesway, fery across the lake and walk to Wray castle. Plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby, views from hotel are amazing and the staff are always so welcoming.

We had a great weekend here for our 40th wedding anniversary, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Had room 66 with a fab 4 poster bed and a great view over the lake. We ate in the main restaurant for dinner and it was sumptuous honestly like a Michelin star! Breakfast is spot on, everything you need and more. It’s a big old building with lots of character but nicely upgraded too. Will be back 😊

Love the hotel room the four poster bed with the lake view. Great location, very close to the shopping area, cafes, bars, restaurants & the lake. Breakfast need to improve, very standard, not many options. We extended our stay, but we were little bit disappointed how the house keeping tidy up our bed. Should be the same quality as we checked in, not very tidy as supposed to be, specially with the room we paid.
