Excellent Stay

We actually stayed at Spark by Hilton in Winchester, VA twice: once on our way down to Florida from CT, and once returning to CT. During both stays, we found the room clean, the staff friendly, and the bagel breakfast just right for our needs. Please be aware that this hotel does not provide a hot breakfast.

Someone kept slamming the heavy room door all night. When I said something to the front desk, I got the new "company line"- I'm so sorry. Horrible night sleep.

Lighting in the room was bright—not dingy with underpowered light fixtures. NO carpets in the rooms. I dislike dirty carpeting in rooms as there’s no way they are going to be clean. Many European hotels have laminate floors in their hotel rooms for decades. Property was clean and bright. Although they have a continental breakfast it would be nice to have a couple of “hot items” like sausages and eggs.

Pleasant Stay

I was so very pleasantly surprised by this Hilton brands excellent value and the very nice staff. This made my trip so much more enjoyable. The color coordinated hallways and rooms are very neat and well chosen. Thanks much for a memorable fine stay, for western Virginia. Plan to stay again when come fishing this area this coming spring.
