The facilities were good, and the stay pleasant but there was an awful lot of trash on the grounds. Since I had a dog and walked him several times, I had occasion to see it all. There were so bags in the waste receptacle station for the dog's excrement and no obvious place to put the bag when you had one. This was the only downside, but a serious one. Thanks for asking.

to close to interstate 81for a new hotel you can hear traffic all night didnt make it sound proof wouldnt stay again

Just what we needed for a one night pit stop in Winchester, VA, on our way to Bedford, NY. We particularly appreciated the amount of clean, grassy space to walk our little dog (a Cairn Terrier) around the vicinity of the hotel. We also appreciated the near location of Oishi Sushi and Ramen restaurant in the next parking lot that we could easily walk to. We wanted dinner, not fancy, but not fast food either, and Oishi was perfect - tasty, reasonably healthy with lots of vegetables. We will seek out Microtel hotels from now on!

Great location, just off the I-81. Room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable as well. The TV had many channels. Coffee was available 24 hours down in the lobby. Breakfast was OK ....cheese omelet with potatoes, yoghurt, etc... Great Japanese restaurant within walking distance of hotel Hotel is a great value for what we paid.

Shower stall had a leak in the left side corner near the toilet which got the floor wet over to the toilet. That part of the glass does not move so it’s not that it was open. Told the morning clerk.

I loved the simplicity of hooks and shelving (rather than drawers. Beds were comfy, too. The one thing that we didn’t like was the loud fan/light in the bathroom. We like to keep the bathroom light on with the door ajar to find our way into the bathroom during the night and not falling or knocking into something.
