An overnight stay that did the job

This was just a brief stayover after concluding personal business in the vicinity, but they nailed everything. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe, and the people were very nice. The worst thing that happened was a brief glitch with the internet connection in the morning, so I came out ahead,

After the frustrating realization that we had arrived at the wrong Fairfield Inn, the manager arranged for us to move our reservation from Shenendoah to Winchester. We slept well and then met Nancy at breakfast. In addition to managing supplies, she made waffles for everyone, quite a job since the hotel was hosting a baseball team. Fairfield rocks!

Hotel was great! Clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Only one problem, we had the grandkids with us as this was our yearly holiday weekend together. Unfortunately the pool heater was not working and the pool and pool room was freezing. I got the idea that it may have been down for quite some time.I had some disappointed grandkids. But everything else was great.

Through my on fault, I had an issue with check in. The young lady at the front desk helped me remedy my situation and get me checked in for my 1night stay. I couldn’t have been more grateful to have her helpful friendly assistance. The hotel was clean with a quiet pleasant lobby. Our room was very nice and clean. Nice bathroom & shower. Our bed was very comfortable. We had a great night's rest as we continued on our trip home after our stay.

We had an excellent stay. Only con was that there was a lot of light in the room from the spotlights outside and the room could have used thicker curtains. Other than that, the hotel was great and we will stay again.
