Our stay was good. It was just one night on our way through town. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the hot tub because I was sore from driving. The pool conditions were pretty bad. Mold and stuff falling off the walls. Hot tub out of order. It wasn’t terrible but not 5 stars. Price was good for what we got. It’s good for a one night stay but I wouldn’t recommend for a long period of time with kids. The free breakfast was a huge plus.

I reserved a room with two queen beds for as stay with my teenage daughter. They overbooked and gave our room away because we arrived later in the evening. My daughter had to sleep on the pullout couch. The linens were too big for the pullout and there were not pillows. A not was placed on the reservation for the manager to see what adjustments would be made, if any. The manager never called. The woman that checked us in had zero personality and was of no help. Devon (Dayvon?) had to help us after the fact. While he could not do anything, he was very courteous. The hotel seemed clean, but it is tired. Noticed some rust on the frame of the bathroom door. Was awakened to the sound of what seemed like water running inside one of the walls on the interior of the room due to the rain. Elevators are slow.

I've stayed at several Embassy Suites locations and this particular one has definitely gone down as far as the overall quality of the service provided. From the front desk attendant, the pool was dirty, the food was not as good as usual. I will continue to book with Embassy Suites but not with that particular one for a good long while to come. The room itself was very comfortable and inviting and my family and I enjoyed ourselves. We did run out of hair conditioner, which only 1 person was attempting to use after we went to the pool at the Homewood Suites next door. I only wish it was a better experience as my 6 year old only wanted to swim for his birthday and I spent a lot of money to be underwhelmed.
