This is a great location since the visitors center is next door. It’s only a two minute walk to catch the bus into Colonial Williamsburg. There is plenty of parking at the property. The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast has a good selection of cereal, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, etc. The rooms are nice but need updated. If I have one complaint it’s the internet service. We stayed on the first floor and our Internet kept dropping out.

This was a lovely property: clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, welcoming with easy access to Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center and transportation. Great for singles or families. Really good variety of breakfast choices with breakfast staying available past mid-morning for those who need to catch up on a bit of sleep, so thoughtful.

The hotel is close to Colonial Williamsburg proper, and located adjacent to Visitor Center so access to the historic area is easy via shuttle bus or walking. We did find the evening lighting around the hotel inadequate with many dark sidewalk areas. The staff is friendly and helpful and available when needed. The breakfast area can be very crowded, particularly when the hotel is fully occupied.

I was traveling by myself and I felt very safe. The location was great and the breakfast was nice. The lady overseeing the breakfast kept the area clean, helped people find tables and kept the food stocked. Nice parking, convenient location.

Great place to stay for convenience as the shuttle to every where is walking distance from your room. Parking is becoming increasingly a problem at Williamsburg and rumor has it that you will be charged to park at the visitors center. Parking is free for quests.

We've stayed at the Woodlands a few times, its been clean and well organized. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The breakfast has fairly good choices. In the summer, I loved the miniatute golf and pool.

My husband and I went to Williamsburg for a Weekend to Remember and really enjoyed our stay at the Woodlands. We especially liked the gym and the breakfast, which were better than average. The staff member at check-in was very nice, too. Thank you!

Beautiful lodge style entrance w/ lg fireplace. Staff exceptional. Not many hot options on breakfast,but lots of fruit and muffins. Great location next to Colonial Williamsburg and trolleys.
