The front desk staff were amazing. Kind, efficient, informative, helpful. Through the staff we learned we were eligible for a discount on our tickets. When we needed a place to recharge rented scooters, they offered a place in the lobby. When we asked for a late check out, they said yes. Can't ask for better.

This property is one of our regular stays while in Williamsburg. Nice large facility with several fun things to do for our two grandsons, Surprisingly including the outdoor pool which was heated, and the splash pad was still Operational even during the first week of October. I was glad that they brought their swimming trunks because I had told them that I was doubtful that any of that would be open at the time of year we were coming. They were pleasantly surprised. Although I do not bring my little dog often, it is nice to know that I can if I can’t find anyone to watch him while we’re gone. We feel like it’s a good value with all the extra things to do and breakfast provided every morning. It is convenient to colonial Williamsburg and not very far away from Busch Gardens.

During my online booking somehow I unknowingly ended up with a 3rd party reservation service rather than booking directly with the facility as intended. Consequently, the discounts I intended to use were not accepted at check-in. Beware I also not aware different types of rooms were available. It would have been helpful to have seen others during booking as the room provided would not have been selected at the price. It was no different than basic rooms at most discount lodging chains for half the price or less. It also needs improved lighting and electrical outlets were minimal. In addition, the onsite WIFI was unusable in the room as my computer refused to connect due to "poor signal quality". Fortunately I was able to use personal equipment with me to create a small WIFI network. Otherwise, it would have been necessary to go to the lobby for network access. While every facility staff member I interacted with was exceptional, the room was disappointing.

Disappointing Dank and Dated
Property was beautiful and staff was nice and helpful. However, first room was damp, dank, and similar to a $50 Motel on a highway. Staff pleasantly agreed to move us to a different room. It still smelled dank and moldy, but it was less bad than the first room. Most hotels were full, so we were stuck. Won't be going back.

Loved the fact we stayed in the Colonial Williamsburg property area. We saw there was quite a few activities at the resort for kids to do. Very nicely tucked away amongst the trees. Quiet area and easy to get on the main road to get you to any part of colonial Williamsburg.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were on the first floor and they smelled murky and mildew! The so called “breakfast”, was nothing but cereals and muffins. Not fresh made but the ones you buy at the convenience store. At night, driving to exit the premises, because of the poor lighting, was very dangerous. The entire premises need a very serious make up! I will give it a Two Star!
