In the past we loved to stay here but the rooms are now in dire need of updating. The lights are dull and the rooms seem dark. I still love the location and the fact that it is an official Williamsburg hotel but it is now less than what I have come to expect from Williamsburg.

I understand in the off season businesses need to make money. Judging by the cars or lack of in the parking lot, they were not anywhere near full. To charge 75 dollars to check in early was a tad steep. Also , housekeeping camped outside our door waiting for us to Ieave. We went to breakfast at 830 returned at 945 and they were still there. Our room had no soap either.
