We traveled for my birthday and stood 7 days. We were checked in by Ella and she was so nice and the check in process was smooth..she was able to get us a room with a nicer view since we booked a room with the swim up pool area which we appreciated. the resort was walk able even to the sister hotel and it was quiet and quite relaxing. Everyone was super nice from the bar to the staff we encountered. the bell hop i forgot his name but he was very nice and helped us locate things on the resort. There was a nighttime front desk person named Timo he was so nice and answered all our questions about getting to the city including recommendations of restaurants and locations we should see. only complaints we had were that there was no designated space for people who were smoking which was kinda annoying as we don't smoke and people were allowed to smoke at all areas in the resort and also on one occasion we did not receive our room service. But overall had a great stay and we would definitely come back and recommend for a nice quiet relaxing stay

We liked the easy access to beach area but did not know it would be rocky. The pool is deep, if youā€™re not swimming just stay on a lounge chair. Pool bartenders are friendly, it would be nice to have waiters at the pool and beach areas. Disliked lack of housekeeping.

The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon was amazing. Id like to thank the following Workers, Ella, Yannick, Timo, Muhammed, Marvi, Mary, Yulis, Rachelle, Omer, Hamed, Zheno, Miangelica, Annika. Their kindness, hospitality, and friendliness made our stay amazing and we appreciated how pleasant they made our stay! We would LOVE to return again soon and look forward to seeing them all again. What a beautiful location, exceptionally beautiful resort grounds. The beach, the views, the palm trees, the food, everything was spectacular. The rooms were always cleaned and fresh, AC worked great and the workers were always happy to help. Definitely the best all inclusive resort we have visited!

I get to my room and the swim up pool room I rented for extra was facing a garage that was noisy in the morning so no sleeping late there was broken glass around the pool that we called to get cleaned 3 times had to do it myself. The room would get warm at night and AC would shut off so we learned that and to turn it back on we called 3-4 times and they would come and nothing. So the last night I went to the desk and took a fan that I was requesting for they werenā€™t happy but when nothing gets done. You do what you must. Oh and getting reservations for dinner is hard.

Cons: -They were doing construction above our rooms during our entire stay so we were awakened every morning with the loudest drilling noises as early as 730am that lasted for hours. -The drinks were heavily watered down. No top shelf choices at all -The front desk ladies seemed like they did not want to be bothered. They would keep their heads down most of the time even when people would walk up to the desk for help. -The partial ocean view was pretty much non existent. The ocean was so far away, I wouldn't recommend getting that room at all because all we really saw was a parking lot and construction machinery. -The main pool was too deep to just chill in. You had to be almost 6 feet tall to stand in it. -The waitstaff in the buffet area barely wanted to get you drinks and barely took the old plates from your table and would let them just pile up. We travel the Carribean alot and this resort was very low when it comes to excellent customer service. I would like to give a shout out to Timo who works at the front desk. He was amazing along with the guy that brought us the welcome drink and keeps up with the luggage (I forgot his name. The pros: Beautiful resort and pretty good food. The room was also nice and spacious. Just make sure you don't get a room where they are still doing construction at. It was daily torture. You would think they are about to fall through the ceiling.

The property is so nice that this place can be 5 star This was hour honeymoon and being around a lot places the property is so nice food is good drinks is good nice area but we had a bad experience since day one with service for check in front desk is not we train bad attitude did not provide information about the property one of the bell boy was drinking and the ladies at the front giving bad looks as other people told us got the same experience this is your face as a hotel so if this is like that what can you expect later . In the restaurants they all rude no respect bars the same all of them and plus the phone is a big issue i complain and asked for the manager and it seems that there was no one in-charge of the property because everyone was all over while one day I need it help the person was on the phone . We had a-lot issues in the room we complained and nothing was fixed there was no AC , bathroom had a smell really bad , friend he was not working plus one morning the housekeeper didnā€™t even knock the door and came in while we were sleeping. Other issue is Rats we saw a lot of them all over. Over all I love to tip because is my vacation I want people to take care of us and I tip only 3 of all of them that they were nice the property I have not complain about the property is so nice the view the food service is really bad and phone it might be the culture but the point is I am paying a little effort from the management to make them understand would change alot

This property is under construction. There are 2 sides: The Rif and The Mangrove. The construction didnt bother me @ all. I was under the impression kids weren't allowed on the The Rif side but i guess i was wrong. It was hot as crapp but doable from the shady spots, the pool and the beach. The all-inclusive deal is nice. There's a buffett and 10 restaurants on the resort. Thankfully, i didnt cross paths w/ any drunk people. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Punda(downtown, bridge, shopping) and it was a safe walk. I did see a few stray dogs. It was very nice to visist the Rio Canario Church of Christ. Lord willing, i will revisit the church and the resort. Oh yeah, there was no shower door in bathroom and had a powerful toilet but i still clogged it, LOL.
