This by far was one of the best locations for entertainment and dining you can book. It was not overrun with tourist it was a mix of locals and visitor. The hotel was pleasant, even when it was busy. We had our breakfast included in our stay and it was worth it. My new friends working the smoothie and omelet line were so nice. They are wonderful ladies. The guest services from the front door to the gentlemen bringing our luggage up were nice and very cordial. The pool and man-made beach were the best. We were able to book massages on the beach, which were great. The gym which is located in the Rif Fort area is a complete gym. The casino was great. It keeps you entertained w/o breaking the bank (actually $5 tables for the non-gamblers) My room was huge with the living area suite. I wish I could find some negatives, but I cannot. We traveled to multiple five-star hotels throughout multiple Caribbean countries I will say Curacao ranks at the top. This was by far one of the best locations for entertainment and dining that I’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t overrun with tourists; instead, there was a nice mix of locals and visitors. The hotel was pleasant, even when it was busy. Our stay included breakfast, which was definitely worth it. The ladies working the smoothie and omelet station were incredibly friendly. The guest services staff, from the front door to the gentlemen who brought our luggage, were all nice and very cordial. I have more to say but... I will return very soon.

Great location. Close to lots of restaurants, walkable to Willemstad. Great private beach area for guests only. Mother's Day was a little hectic, seemed a lot of local residents were at the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even the beach was more crowded. We didn't get daily room service, a couple times they showed up at 6 pm when we were getting ready for dinner which was inconvenient. We helped them with emptying trash. We called and requested the room be cleaned the next day. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and everyone was SO friendly.

We loved our stay at the Renaissance! At check-in, we were upgraded to an ocean view room with a balcony. So, off to a great start right away. The room was beautiful and provided a great ocean view, along with the man made beach. We stayed in room 205, which was perfect for us. Steps away from Starbucks for a quick morning coffee, and just down the hall from the entrance to the beach and pool. The man made beach was beautiful! Lots of available seating and the sand bottom pool was perfect. The best part of this area, though, was the staff at the Infinity Beach Bar! We had the best time talking with them each day! They were all so nice and really made our stay that much better! The cocktails were amazing and the service was quick and so friendly! A special shout out to Ivoree, who is the supervisor at the bar! She is WONDERFUL!! Just so genuinely happy and friendly! I hope the hotel understands just how much a gem they have! She is outstanding and is such a wonderful representation of the hotel and Marriot! We rented a car for a few days and loved the free parking in the parking garage located just outside of the front entrance to the hotel. Very convenient! There are several dining options just outside the resort, in Rif Fort. Just past Rif Fort is a quick walk to the Queen Emma Bridge and Punda for shopping and dining. This resort checked all of the boxes for us and we will definitely choose the Renaissance when we return to Curacao!

The Hotel is in an excellent area, close to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are clean ad spacious. staff is extremely friendly and willing to assist. There is plenty to do within and outside of the hotel. The are is safe, there is live music every night at the Rif Fort. Overall is it a great choice
