My husband and I really loved the resort and all of the activities. The staff was extremely attentive and always on call when we needed them. Our only complaint was the noise from the construction crew that started at around 8:45 to 9:00 at night. I guess they were preparing for the event the followig evening, which was fun by the way. I think guest should be warned before hand and given the option to stay or be placed in another room. Once again, it was not the beach party that was annoying, it was the construction that occurred late in the evening the night before. However once we made staff aware that this is not what we expected, they moved us to another room. It was a bit of a hassle to have to get our things together after 10 pm (yes the construction was still gping on)and move to another room away from the noise. However we did appreciate them giving us the opportunity to move to a different location. One other thing, we could never get the patio door to lock in the first room after three tries wirh maintenace. Hopefully you guys were able to get that fixed for the next guest. If it not for those two things I would've given my overall experience 5 stars.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Even though on the first day we had ants in our bathroom and very low water pressure from the shower, the kontiki team resolved the situations and made our stay awesome! We loved the beach and being so close to mambo boulevard. The resort was in a perfect location and the pools were beautiful.

The pictures of this facility is not the same as in person. The smell of sewer throughout, you pay for everything literally. We paid for our transportation there and they accused us of not paying. They were trying to keep my deposit. I have traveled many places , this by far is the worse.

We stayed in the luxury sea view suites (room 105) and it was everything I wanted and more. The room, staff and beaches were perfect. Within walking distance is several restaurants. They reserve beach beds for you right in front. We loved the pool in our room! The staff were amazing. The breakfast was filling and fresh to order. So happy with this stay and would stay again. 10/10. I wouldn’t consider this negative - more of an FYI - you will hear beach parties since you are so close to the water. There was one Sunday night and Wednesday night - the music didn’t bother us at all, but something to note.

I should preface this review by saying that I’m relatively easy to please, but this stay left something to be desired. The room was wonderful, immaculate, and everything that the pictures show, but the service left something to be desired. The staff just aren’t attentive and that’s coming from someone who typically doesn’t make a lot of requests while on vacation. I was ignored at a restaurant, told to schedule a taxi via text message that never came, and asked to share my private VIP airport transfer with a stranger for a $70 refund which didn’t even amount to half the price of the service. The beach clubs have parties every other night so if you don’t like loud music or party vibes until at least midnight this resort isn’t for you. This really didn’t bother me much but beware. The availability of food is good but the quality can be hit or miss. All in all, I don’t think I would come back.
