I absolutely loved this resort. The property was sooo beautiful, like something out of a magazine. I took my 2-year-old here for vacation and it had everything we needed. The resort does an amazing job catering to families with children and also people looking to party a bit. They had daily kids activities and my son loved the onsite water park. The rooms were comfortable and the resort felt safe overall. Some of the furniture/fixtures in the room were rusting and peeling. I'm not someone who cares too much about those details, but if you are, just beware. The food was typical resort food so nothing special, but there are many dining options in the area if you want to have a quality Curacaoan meal. I would definitely recommend this resort!

The hotel is exceed our expectations. We booked the hotel in the last minutes. Only three days before we arrived, the last ocean view room is fantastic. The all inclusive food is amazing. Easy to walk to Willemstad downtown. 15 min walk only. Very safe to walk at least during daytime. Pools are good. Water park is very fun. Strongly recommended.

Mangrove by Hilton is not up to standards at all. This is definitely not a 4.5 star rating. The property is old and not updated. The food and all inclusive options is not what I read at all. You had to make dining reservations everyday BUT no one was ver there. We were there for 4 nights and never ate at a restaurant although we tried to follow instructions. My fiancé and I travel a tremendous amount and this was by far our worst vacation. The staff weren’t friendly and kind and you could tell something is going on. They didn’t care even after we asked for help with things. We tried to fix this vacation from day one so we could enjoy it and the staff just didn’t want to deal with us much less anyone else. I booked this resort knowing it was a Hilton but if Hilton standards are this now I will not be booking Hilton in the future. From changing rooms, to no AC, to the room being soaked in water, to not being able to get into restaurants, no hot water in the new room. What makes or breaks your vacation is the attitude of the staff because we did pay money to come here is was not free. We tipped and still treated everyday like we were entitled and annoying. After reporting to a guest service manager which everyday after that never even looked our way.

The check-in process at the desk was over an hour wait with staff “Sugeny” and “Steven” the manager. My reservations were not found. Sugeny informed us they had to reenter my reservations after an hour of them trying to find the original reservation. Once we were given a room our keys did not work. Had to wait for Sugeny to let us in with her Master Key Card. The room needed work and was run down. And the hardware to the lamps were black and rusted. We had to wait over an hour to get new key cards. Sugeny then called to tell us we needed to come back downstairs to the lobby for the key cards. We had difficulty attempting to get out the room and were stuck inside the room for some time. No one answered the Front Desk Lobby phone as we attempted to get out the room. After trying to pull and tug on the door we finally were able to get out of the room. When we went back to the lobby we informed the staff again, there wasn’t any hot water and the door is stuck, causing a Fire Hazard. When we got back into the room that night there was no hot water. Informed Steven (manager) and he assured someone would come up, we waited and nobody came. After dinner we checked and still no Hot Water. I went back downstairs and informed “Sugeny” who stated “She will be back at work tomorrow and take care of us.” I informed the new manager on “Mark” and he just kept stating he doesn’t understand how our room doesn’t have hot water. He stated there was only one maintenance guy on duty.

The staff at the buffet were quite rude and did not acknowledge us at all. The only exception was Teddy at the bar, who was friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. It was surprising to see a five-star hotel with dirty glasses and poor-quality food.

This was probably one of the worst vacations I’ve ever been on. The food was terrible. Off the resort it was only a little better. The WiFi didn’t work well, it took three hours for room service, the water got cut off, the beach is in unbearably rocky. The taxis were ridiculously expensive. I wish I had more positive things to say. The best thing I ate on the resort were chicken nuggets. There is NO PREMIUM liquor. Curacao will never see me again and I will never recommend a Carendon property in my life. I upgraded to the Rif and it was even worse……save your money

Highly disappointed especially knowing this the resort was a Hilton property. The resort was in very rough conditions and needs remodeling throughout. The food was terrible and if it was in the US the food and health department would shut the place down. Just seeing the conditions of the food at the pool made me want to throw up. No rom service at an All inclusive even though the resort app promoted it.

I do not recommend it, the service is not good, if you make a reservation for a restaurant you still have to wait in line, they do not respect the time of your reservation, in the buffet there is no service, nobody serves you, you have to look for your own drinks and cutlery, it is not recommended if you want to have quality time and feel happy

The hotel itself is nice, but the service is very poor. We had a broken glass for two days in our room and it took forever to get cleaned. When they cleaned the room they didn’t provide new towels, they hung up the dirty ones I put on the floor that I left for them to take. Also we had a water problem in our room and they didn’t fix it until we left. it was completely flooded all the way to the bed. The buffet ran out of plates and utensils every day even if we got there early. They need to take care of a lot of things, especially the overall attitude of the workers. Our third room we had to wait three hour past the checking time and additional three hours to wait for the extra bed that we pay for.

The hotel is your typical resort. It was nice. Food was ok for all inclusive. Some of the staff was nice and others were rude. Be careful if you explore the town. Don’t go alone. One of those in our party decided to do just that and got mugged. Not worth exploring. Just stay in the resort.

Overall displeased with stay but made the most of it. As walking into room the was a hole in the wall that was not properly patched up. Elevator was out of service every other day. Had to wait in line for an hour to get to special restaurants, no reservations. The buffet was a hit or miss. Family enjoyed international night with a large variety of food choices. Different cultures (staff) so may come across as rude for some people. Nice pool and decent beach kind of small. Reminded to have water shoes, very rocky. Hotel has loading dock for cruises so can be very busy at times. If looking for luxury this is not the place to go.
