I was HIGHLY disappointed in this hotel. We arrived around 8pm. No one was at the counter. Rang the bell several times & still no one came. No signs or phone # to tell you what to do or to call. I ended up finding the phone # on another booking website. Called & was told my keys were in the bucket at the desk. That is not safe at all!!!! Someone who knows that's what they do could've taken the key, entered my room (leaving the door cracked since it doesn't close all the way), then taken the key back upfront and waited in my room. The person on duty showed up 10 minutes after we got there to make sure to scan my id and credit card. After we unpacked we noticed the sink plug was jammed & wouldn't drain. I told the girl upfront and she moved us to another room. She gave me 1 key and as I was asking for another one, she was running down the hall in a rush and said she'd give me another tomorrow. After she was gone, we noticed the door did not lock at all. There is no one around at all ever!!! My husband went out to smoke and called me because the key wouldn't open the front door. When I got up there, there was another couple waiting to get in too because they forgot their key (like it would've worked anyway). They too didn't know about the door situation. I have never stayed at a place where there wasn't someone around to help or have the front door lock. Information should've been provided at check in. Or at least have a sign up. Horrible experience!
