This is very clearly a family owned operation that is striving to do better. The property is very old and shows wear and tear. The price was fair for the condition. We only needed to stop for a night to rest to get off the road and this hotel was adequate to meet that need.

Nice lady when checking in. The room, however, was not so nice. The doors in the rooms (entrance and bathroom) didn't shut or open easily, so you had to shove them with your shoulder. Once inside, there were multiple dead bugs on the floor in plain view. While functional, the room just didn't seem clean. Old screw holes in the living room and bathroom walls were unpatched and unpainted. Soaps were just dumped on the bathtub, but not one for the sink. While taking a shower, the water started fine and hot, and then during, it flashed to cold and then back to warm. On the bathroom ceiling, there was a lot of paint peeling off. The pool wasn't open and was empty, looking like it was getting some work done. I'm all for a cheap hotel, and am not bothered by a lot, but with all of this combined, I wouldn't go here again. However, the Mexican restaurant next door had quite tasty food.

Not sure how this place got such a high rating, it’s. 5.0 at best. Breakfast area was lacking basics, for example only had six cups of waffle mix but the machine was turned off anyways and an old waffle was left inside of it.

This hotel is amazing for the price. Beds are clean and comfortable. Everything was clean. I don’t mind older furniture and scratches. Makes it more unique!!! Breakfast is minimal but there is a small variety. Coffee. Toast. Waffles. Boiled eggs. Cereals. Juices. Milk.

Do not book here, pictures not of actual site.
Did not stay after check-in. Still waiting on my refund for 3 double queen rooms. All 3 Rooms had strong foul odor old cigarette smoke and mildew, were filthy, linens stained, visible dirt and bugs, went to see the indoor pool and it was dirty, actual dirt onthe bottom of very cloudy water, garbage, gum and food around the perimeter. Deflated beach ball and garden hose in the pool. Manager tried to give me an upgrade (with the additional cost to me) to "suites". I told him i could not stay there with my children at all due to the filth and odor and i was promised a refund. They did not provide me any proof, couldn't even give me a business card or write down the managers name for me so i wrote it on my own. They asked for me email address only and i still haven't heard from them 24 hours later. Pictures during booking were not of the site.
