We enjoyed our recent stay at the windmill inn, it was lovely and peaceful! The food was delicious and fairly priced also! We will definitely be back.

Expedia totally falsely advertise this property as luxury. They are sheds with no amenities. There is 1 toilet and 1 shower between 4 sheds at opposite end of the garden! The staff and pub itself are lovely apparently they have 3 rooms upstairs in the pub which are luxury but the huts definitely are not! Expedia DO NOT define the difference!

Amazing weekend staff fantastic. Sharon lola loved you and she taught her. Dog friendly. Food amazing and spectacular views.food and drink good prices. Good value for money. Slight improvements could be a fridge and dustpan in sheperds hut and a bin in back garden. Thanks for an wonderful weekend.

Was a nice place, the inside was much nicer than the outside, the breakfast was great but the pub is noisy. They do close at 11 and things quiet down quickly after that. To be expected at an inn like this but was slightly annoying after a long day walking.

The shepherds hut was reasonably but a sticky floor on one side of the bed. Due to the time of year the heating provided was not adequate. Mattress was average and not very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff was very polite. The place was clean however there was a massive crack in the window in the room and the radiator didn’t work in the bathroom. There is a car parking place however it can be hard to park there due to people going to pub so had to park on the road. It was clean it was noisy at times as the room was above the pub wouldn’t say it was worth the £160 for the night

Nice place to stay with a friendly atmosphere, happy and attentive staff. They were all happy to help and with a smile . Food was very nice , would definitely stay there again.

Great stay in two of the cabins at the windmill inn. Everywhere was so clean, the breakfast was brilliant and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely stay again

Had a fantastic stay at the Windmill Inn. All staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Shepards’ huts were clean and cozy. Breakfast was fantastic on both days and location great for both Robin Hoods’ Bay and Whitby. Would definitely stay again and recommend!
