The location was not too far from beach, the staff were friendly enough the bed was clean & toilet but the room was grubby & looked dirty it needed decorating the whole upstairs needed a makeover, you had to make your own breakfast & that was just toast, or cereal make your own tea even the breakfast room was grubby looking, On top of the stairs you had a fridge you can put your on milk & stuff in a shelf with extra tea/coffee/sugar & boxes of cereal what’s that all about? We did try find somewhere else but everywhere was booked. Charge to much never stay there again we left a day early this is definitely a one star if that

I fancied a short break in the Weymouth area and this was the cheapest accommodation available. Although I had read the reviews before booking and knew what to expect, I was still frustrated at the lack of facilities. It is indeed a no-frills stay, but as a seasoned budget traveller I'm used to paying much less for a room and receiving much more in return, i.e. cooked breakfast, complimentary shower & shampoo sachets, blackout curtains, and mini fridge in room - none of these were here. The positives were that the room was clean, staff were friendly and the room had a pedestal fan which was needed in the summer.

No water at all coming from the hot tap, dirty stains on bed, fan thick with dust, vanity light didn’t work. Landing light on all night and glass window over the door so room flooded with light all night. Internet had no connection and no parking space, had to risk parking in residents only area overnight. No one to report concerns too as back after 11pm and pub closed. Only the cleaner in on Friday morning at 8am when I left. I wouldn’t have stayed at all if my drive wasn’t 7hrs. I drove 14hrs in 2 days on no sleep. Tried to contact via phone myself and never any answer. Expedia customer service tried to call 4 times & no answer. I’d have let the water slide if I’d have had any sleep.

There was no parking on the Friday night so had to park away from hotel and walk back. Bed mattress needs replacing but other than that it was quiet.The hosts were very nice. I would describe the room as compact it was a god job we did not bring our dog

Only a few parking spaces so could be on the road. Rooms are above a pub, very noisy until 11pm. All staff fabulous, room was all I needed and breakfast was enough.
