This hotel was fine for our random 2 day trip but no longer. The hotel does need REFURBISHING as pretty dated and also in our room the window was broke. the person next door was very noisy at kicking the doors at 2.30 in the morning . The positives near thy everything ie train station beach and town.

the room was ok , sea view but the windows were dirty , everything needs refurbished to be honest. i can`t complain that much because the bathroom was ok and beds were comfortable enough. I will recommend the hotel because its good enough for a few days and the position that it is situated

Not a deluxe

My stay was for a deluxe family room which was £154 for one night for 2 adults and 2 children..no breakfast! It was clean and large but the curtains were hanging off and very thin.. the shower was very poor..chips in the bath and just a bit shabby overall.. the staff were friendly enough but quite disappointed with a deluxe room..

A pleasant stay at the Fairhaven.

A pleasant stay at the Fairhaven. It is well located on the seafront and offers simple comfortable rooms. The discounted parking at a nearby multistorey car park is a nice bonus as parking around the hotel is expensive. Thank you.

The room could have been in better condition there could b more improvement by having a better design and the bath wasn’t clean and an old bath mat was in it . Which it didn’t need one . Everything was quickly done but no care was considered while decorating

The room was in need of an update - mould in the bathroom, the light in the bathroom above the sink did not work and the room was cold. There were no heaters
