When booking its NOT stated clearly in write up about the car parking charge of £10 , also it’s quite noisy where we was with doors banging from the corridors . But the sea view was lovely

My original room 216 was terrible due to the conditions and the horrible smells coming from other rooms on the corridor but fortunately i complained and they moved me to room 401 which was excellent.It needs sorting because its not a nice experience or accomdating to customers

Old squeaky and charming place

It is picturesque location, as i stayed for the businesses purpose i didn't use any facilities so cannot say anything else. Not as clean as it should, some spoons with an old coffee marks on it. Room was cosy, smells ok, i would say the whole place is a bit old, but place not smells old at all, seems staff trying to keep up to the their best there. Hot water, normal size bath, warm inside the room, nice soap, really fast wifi. Very squeaky floors as it is old. The only things upset is the parking 10£p night and i didn't know that before arrival, but there is plenty parking on a driveway 2 min from the property. Staff was friendly

Good service.

Rooms need updating but they was clean and tidy. Good breakfast along with good service. Staff very polite. Having a carpark is a bonus as most hotel do not have parking.

Hotel needs updating

Bit disappointed with the room, on our card it stated a “upgrade” bathroom sink was full of cracks, bath panel was warped, paint flaking off, wallpaper in room coming off the walls, it was a attic room that looked and felt old and dirty, shame really as had a lovely night in function room. Hotel needs updating as sister had a similar room and that was even worse.

The staff and food were very good. The they put me and my wife wich was on the top floor with a good view. But the room was flaking with paint falling off the walls with damp patches. It just needs updating a bit.

The view was the best bit

Nice sea view but the bedroom was cramped and dated. The carpet was stained and uninviting. Dust on top of bathroom mirror. Shower unit side panel falling away. Shower a bit mouldy and a cramped bathroom. Room was very hot and even with radiator turned to zero still very warm in the room so didn't sleep well. Bed comfortable and linen clean. Bath towels could have been Gwen's from Gavin and Stacey didn't smell great but we're clean. Entrance through revolving doors at front not very dog friendly. You need to use narrow side doors but can only access them by going through the revolving doors. Staff friendly enough but the bedroom was substandard. £10 to pay to park your car an added fee. Breakfast ok but coffee pretty naff. Not a place I would stay again unless I had no other options or it gets a decent update.
