This review is going to be influenced by the price of the room which I realize can vary significantly. Since I paid 4 star hotel prices and got a 2 or 3 star stay I'm going to be somewhat dissatisfied. The place was ok for a 2 or 3 star hotel but not ok for the price that I got charged. Thin walls, so so cleaniless, pretty worn out decor.. Bedding was fine and we did eventually get a good night's sleep. Staff were nice.

They said the room we booked thru Travelocity were all booked up. We’d booked an upper floor with balcony. They said they upgraded us to pool view on the bottom floor. Pool was in distance on far left. Our view was swimming beach and dock. Prices looked the same so not an upgrade for substitute balcony.

We appreciated a nice breakfast, beautiful grounds next to Chelan Lake, comfortable bed, and centralized access to tourist attractions. The guests in the room above us were heard walking around from 5:00 a.m. so maybe better insulation would have helped.

Everything was lovely, except we are early risers and coffee drinkers and there was no available coffee until 7 am when the breakfast opened. We had kcups in our room and were told to get more as needed at the office. Unfortunately, the office was not open until 6 am. The area is beautiful and quick easy walk access to the lake. The parking lot was a bit tight, but doable with careful parking.

The property is not well maintained and quite rundown. Regularly no towels at either pool, litter and trash sitting in the same areas for the entire week we were there. We were warned of a gnat infestation with a letter in our room, and they were not lying. Woke up to hundreds, if not thousands of dead gnats on every surface of the bathroom and in our towels each morning. I would clean them up the best I could early each day so that I and the kids were not walking on dead gnats in the bathroom as we got ready to start the day. I let the front desk know of the problem and they did little to help clean things up forcing me to buy my own cleaning supplies. The place is basically on the lake, so that’s the good news.
