I was so very frustrated and disappointed with the LaQuinta in Waxahachie that I am not sure I will ever stay there again. Kerra or Kara needs to have a different job. She doesn’t have a good attitude nor does she care about the guests. She stayed on the phone and was supposed to bring me a new remote and a lamp that works and never showed up. There were roaches or some kind of bugs under the chair and in the sink and it was so dark that I couldn’t hardly see to crochet. I have stayed at many aLaQuinta’s around this country and this one definitely does not measure up.

The hotel was ok, room was big, the couch, chair and bed were very uncomfortable. The bed pillows looked nice and comfortable but they are mostly just air and filling and went flat. Almost on water pressure in the shower, the sink didn’t drain well at all and the toilet didn’t flush well either. The breakfast was disgusting; powdered eggs, boiled sausage and stale cereal are not very appealing. But the worse part of the hotel is the elevator. The elevator is tiny, slow and smelled horrible, not a dirty smell but a burnt oil smell which made me feel very uncomfortable riding in it. Also forgot to mention the construction worker hammering and banging at 5:30 am and the ambulance that was stationed out back with the ems workers watching me creepily every time I was outside. Will definitely not use this hotel again.

Clean hotel, great stay
I stayed on a Wednesday night for a business meeting Thursday morning. The hotel was very nice and updated. It had hardwood/laminate floors instead of carpet, which I thought was awesome!
