The owners recently took over this motel after it had been closed for a few years. They are working hard to bring it back up to standard. The rooms were a little musty, and yet there were many lovely touches in the rooms, including an umbrella in case it rained and many wonderful pictures and sayings posted. we are very glad we stayed there. It is not a place for someone right now who is not willing to be flexible. I think the family will do a great job as they continue to improve the property.
Good clean small motel just off highway outside Wawa. For us we were just heading back from BC and Wawa is the usual last stop for us. Being immediately off the highway was convenient. It is next to the Ford dealer so with lighting of the dealer you feel safe and not secluded. The rooms were big and while dated, they have been maintained and are very clean and comfortable. The young man at the desk was very polite and engaging. I would stay there again.

The room had a strong smell of perfume like when we entered. We realized the strong plugin scented room fragrance the next morning but it was way too strong all night long. No window on the front entrance side where the car is only back small window. We felt claustrophobic to a degree. The room was tidy. TV was impossible to figure out and instructions said to contact owner but we were too tired to have someone come in the room. The pillow cover was not a regular pillowcase but a thick Sham. No one should be forced to sleep on a sham cover. Rug in the room and allergies in high gear. The room was large enough and the host was nice. Traffic noise on the main highway in the background too. Overall if these issues get rectified, the room would be decent. Fair price!
Cutest little motel ever. Very clean and comfortable. The owners are awesome
We loved every moment. A cute little quaint spot to sleep while travelling.
Little signs everywhere to give instructions.
The only thing that didn’t work was the satellite tv. But hey. Who needs tv. It was so retro.
The owner of this motel is very helpful and accomodating, communicates effectively and goes over and above. Wonderful guest service. The room is very nice and comfortable.
We will definitely book Northern Lights again. Clean. Spacious. Outside of but close to Wawa. Perfect for our trip!

Electrical outlets were confusing. Had problems using CPAP machine. Was able to resolve issue but would not book another stay based upon this specific concern.
We arrived late - owner was fun to talk to. Rooms were clean.
This is a clean and well equipped motel room. Large bathroom and TV. Employees were friendly and helpful. We were surprised and would stay again. Beds were clean and very comfortable.
The owner is very helpful and warm, eager to help us with every question. It is a well kept place with alot of fun little surprises in the room. We highly recommend this stay!
We stayed here a few years ago when we were posted to Kingston, and now we returned! The property has been sold and there are new owners. They were absolutely lovey and so, so friendly. The rooms were super clean and spacious and also welcoming our dogs whom all are very-well behaved. There are trails in the back and everything is extremely well-maintained. If we stop by again, we'll always make an effort to return!
I was impressed by our room, it was very spacious, clean, had a nice little table and chairs for dining, also a desk. There were little signs welcoming you, and explanations of where things were.
Our hotel room was perfect! Lots of rrom to move around...we had 2 queen beds.
Double sinks. Lots of cute little signs to tell us how things worked and where things were. We've been staying in motels for about 14 days and this was the best one. And the price was great! And it was the first motel/hotel that had TWO luggage racks...one for each of us! Thank you for such a geeat stay! We highly recommend the Northern Lights Motel in Wawa.
