Was an okay stay. The front desk lady was quite nosey... and the sauna was not working and looked like it hadn't been in a while. They should not then advertise it. And the breakfast was one of the worst I've had. It made my stomach very upset and made my husband sick.

Family reunion
The place is dated, but the price was right. Owners wonderful and everything was so clean. We were there for a family reunion and they were so accommodating to our group. Rooms were spaciouus and it was quiet at night. Does it need some upgrades, yes but if you are traveling on a budget and need a family-friendly place to stay this is perfect.

The property and room was clean and welcoming. The staff greeted and checked us in fast. The room had a pleasent smell. The amenities very more than adequate for our stay. The breakfast had a variety of options (at least for me). I did enjoy the Bagel and egg sandwich, and nice and warm coffee. My wife and I are so happy we chose to stay with Super 8. We are definitely coming back.

Horrible Desk Clerk
Check in was the worst I have ever experienced. We had a reservation for a king room with a roll away for 6+ months and when we arrived to check in, we had to call the desk clerk on phone on the wall. I told her we were supposed to have a roll away bed and king bed she said “oh I don’t know if it’s in the room or now. I know we have them I’m just not sure where they are”. I told her I received an email confirming it was on our reservation. She said “well you made that with Expedia not us so it doesn’t show up unless we look in the reservation itself.” I told her no I didn’t and she stands up and turns the computer screen to show me I did- I said it was through hotels.com and she said they are owned by Expedia so it’s the same thing. She then proceeds to go on her phone and text someone which was the start of a 5-10 minute awkward silence. She then finally says ok but it will be $10 extra per night to which I replied, “no in the email they sent me from Super 8 Wyndham in Antigo, that it would be $5 per night and what my new total would be. She again goes back to her phone texting someone. About 5 minutes later after another awkward silence she says “fine $5 extra per night. After I paid in full she says I’ll get the bed and blankets to your room as soon as I can but it will be awhile. We went to our room and immediately looked to see if there was someplace else we could stay instead. Unfortunately there weren’t any other options available. The rest of the stay was better.

I will not be coming back again. Everything was broken in my room, my keycard wouldn’t even work because they need new locks. The night shift lady lady complained when she had to keep re swiping it and was telling me it’s because I put my phone by it! No I did not!!!!!!! It’s just janky and needs an update!! The only great thing was the beds were comfty!
