This is the noisiest “nice” hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a shame because it’s beautiful but if the noise in front of my door, in the hallways and both above and below the room is so bad I feel like ALL the drunk para-politicians of DC were having a rager - then I am out. Never again. I can’t recommend you throw your ability to sleep away on this nonsense.

Irmalita kindly accommodated us 4 nights upgrade due to road construction noise making it nearly impossible to sleep. The entire staff in all venues of the Washington were courteous, attentive, and respectfully polite in remembering our preferences. Omar in the Fireclay. Housekeeping was remarkable, mahalo Finda!

This hotel is a bar place - extremely crowded and noisy during nights. The loud music and dj won’t stop until 2:30 am. Terrible.

Hotel Washington is conveniently situated next to the White House, Treasury Dept. nice restaurants on 14th street and museums/Mall. It has a lively restaurant on top (VUE) with a beautiful roof deck. Downsides: the lively restaurant (VUE) get's very busy clogging the elevators and lobby. Only two of 3 elevators were functioning during stay (5 min waits for elevators). Heavy road resurfacing right outside hotel deep into early morning hours (1a.m.) was very, very noisy and dusty/smelly. Room was tiny for $360/night when taxes and fees added was $450/night.

I picked this for the roof top resident bars and location. Only to find the top floor closed to residents. Room with a view was a view of a wall. Quiet room was a room opposite the lifts with a sofa outside the door for guests to party on. On trying to cancel on arrival, reception were less than helpful and actually pretty rude. thirty minute wait for the Manager who had to be called to sort things out, who did so professionally, however I still await a refund. It is a cracking location and I am sure the view from the roof is a good one... if it is open.

It was my first time in DC in so long. The hotel that we picked was a pretty good place to look around and shop. The hotel it self was beautiful and the staff were excellent! For a two night stay, I was expecting it to be more cleanly. I found some hair in the shower when I used it and there were stains on the extra bed/pullout couch that was there. I just wished that it was presentable when I came. Other than that, my sister and I had a great time at the hotel. Checking in and checking out was pretty smooth thanks to the efficient staff!

The hotel is close to main sites. But the rooms are small and not well soundproofed. The reception staff is too busy and does not make you feel very welcome. The resort fees cover, well, nothing as this is not a resort. Breakfast was good but overpriced. You sacrifice a lot to be 200 m closer to the White House. I would not go back
