It worked just fine for our needs however the place is a bit run down. Our door moved an inch or so in and out of the door jam while locked. Our room was next to the garbage shoot and smelled like garbage when we got there and the toilet needed help flushing. They are trying to update the property, but it needs more work! It was nice to have a kitchenette and a bit more space compared to other East cost hotels, however it was lacking in other areas. DC is so spread out that the location worked decent. Lots of food options nearby and a metro stop within 15 mins walking.

We enjoyed our stay and found the property clean and the accommodations were spacious and included a full kitchen. The location in Georgetown was safe and fun and includes restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. nearby. We parked our car close by and ubered everywhere. Our only complaint is that the wood nightstands and kitchen cabinets were a little worn. We will stay at this property again if we return to Washington DC.

Overall the property and common areas were great. The room (1 bed suite w/ kitchen) had modern tasteful decor, but the renovations, upkeep were poorly done...expanding foam filling gaps under kitchen cabinetry, and the bathroom tub was in the worst condition of any hotel I've stayed at in recent memory...shower head leaking, with lots of water damage, flaking paint and mold/mildew. Shame as a little basic maintenance from a qualified pro would easily remedy this.

This hotel is in a great location for variety of dining choices. Beautiful architecture and 5 minutes from the Harbor shopping and restaurants on the Potomac. AMC theaters nearby too.

Overall great property. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Walkable area. Two downsides: AC is VERY loud when it comes on/goes off, which definitely keeps you awake. Bathroom needs some updates (paint on tiles, shower curtain liner about 6 inches too short so water gets everywhere)
