A little deceiving
I was very disappointed when I walked into the room. I expected what I saw on the picture on the site. I like a hotel feel but it felt more like an Air B&B. I just don’t want guest to expect something and not receive it. One other thing in the shower there is one glass that doesn’t move, water was all over the floor even with the towel on the floor it was soaked.

A very convenient hotel to the DuPont Metro center
The staff was very friendly, very helpful. The restaurant folks and bartender were friendly and provided excellent service. We were told we would get two free drink coupons upon check-in. I forgot to ask about it and they were not provided so that was kind of disappointing but other than that, we will return.

They have several 'hidden' fees that increase the rate of the room. Why not just add them to the total so I know what I'm paying? You can't use Apple Pay there for some reason, which was inconvenient for me since I didn't have the actual card. I had to borrow my mom's credit card to pay the bill. Get with the 21st century!

The Lyle is close to metro and has a number of restaurants nearby - as well as their own restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay there (and we loved always being greeted by the doorman!)
