I recently stayed at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The staff came across as indifferent and, at times, outright rude. The final straw occurred during my departure when the elevators broke down, forcing me to haul two 50-pound bags down eight flights of stairs without any assistance from hotel personnel. Additionally, my room was noticeably outdated and poorly maintained, with stained carpets and worn furniture contributing to an overall uninviting atmosphere. For the price, I expected a much higher standard of service and upkeep. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.
