We were greeted by very friendly staff, they even wheeled out a wagon for our 2 year old to pick out a stuffed animal. The sunset from the pool deck can’t be beat. Great location and one of the easiest hotels to get in and out of at the wharf

My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental at The Wharf to celebrate his birthday. Overall, we had a pleasant experience; the hotel staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The room was beautiful, and the hotel’s amenities were impressive. However, our experience with the valet service left us quite disappointed. One of the valet attendants, Mebrate, was driving recklessly when exiting the parking garage, almost colliding with our vehicle while driving another guest’s car. His customer service was also subpar, which really put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable stay. We would like to highlight that, aside from this unfortunate incident, the rest of the hotel staff provided excellent service, which we greatly appreciated. However, due to our experience with the valet, we would advise future guests to be cautious if using the valet service

Loved our stay here. My only issue was at check in at 4pm, when they told me that there were no rooms available and that we would be called or texted when one was ready. They told us we could walk around (but didn’t offer to take our bags). After a half hour we returned and asked, only to be told there was indeed a room available but they’d made a mistake in not contacting me. They upgraded our room to compensate

What a great hotel! And it’s in a great part of the city. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Make sure you pay for the valet parking. It’s worth it in that area. The staff was great and they provided fresh fruit to our room for out arrival!
