We were there on time for check in and had to wait almost an hour in the lobby because our room wasn’t clean, only to be offered another of the same rooms. Would have been nice to be offered a different room from the beginning since we were only in the area for one night and this cut into our sightseeing. I wish I knew the only parking on site is valet for $50/night. Cheaper parking can be found within a block or two.

We enjoyed our stay and the fact that we were a short walking distance or ride to all the places we wanted to visit! Staff was friendly and accommodating and area around property was quiet for the duration of our stay. We definitely recommend this location!

Great location for walking & scooters!

The hotel is in a prime location for touring DC! The overall comfort level was superb, however the customer service after 4pm could be more friendly. We called the front dest for an extra set of towels and blankets since there was a setup for 2, but we are a family of 4. After two hours we had to call again, which was nearly midnight to receive the items. Breakfast buffet & staffing was excellent though!

We liked this hotel, it's located close to the Mall and easy to walk to main attractions. Rooms that are close to the highway could be noisy, but staff solved this problem and upgraded us to a better room, so we are happy overall. Not a lot of food options in the area, so plan your meals in advance.

Neutral Review For This Hotel

Room was clean when we arrived. Day 2, floor had not been vacuumed, they didn’t take the dish from breakfast, they stripped the sheet off the pull out sofa but then didn’t remake it. I had to call the front desk to have a sheet and blanket delivered to the room. Air conditioning never dropped below 75 with the three of in the room at night it was too hot for us. Dropping the temp didn’t make a difference. Shower had no water pressure. Only positive was the bed was comfortable. The “restaurant” was a joke. $98 for 2 sandwiches and a burger. Limited menu and no staff. I had to ask if it was even open. I will say the place was clean, easy to get to and the perfect walking distance from the national mall.

It was convenient in getting to air & space museum and the capital. No restaurants in area the closest is 15 minute walk at The Walrf area which I highly recommend. Hotel breakfast okay very crowded. Small gym. Expensive parking. Room view of highway

Just ok place to stay. Rooftop bar was enjoyable

The hotel was just ok. The toilet kept running and often didn't flush completely. The mirror in the bathroom was broken off across the entire bottom length of it. Pillows were hard. The gym was ok. Breakfast was meh. I did enjoy the rooftop bar and fruit and herbs that were growing on the perimeter. It was an easy location to get around. i was disappointed that parking was not always available in the garage and we had to park in a garage down the street.

Great Location

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The sheets were a little rough. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant options were few. I would’ve thought there would’ve been more restaurant choices. The location was great.
