Pretty sure we had bed bugs bites. Tried to get different room. Woman was horrible. Gave me a room next to elevator with no air conditioning. Tried to talk to manager, but he was “on a break.” Reached out after stay and never heard back. Also had fire alarm go off and everyone had to evacuate. No communication at all after event. Very disappointed in how treated and la k of communication from management.

This hotel is an easy walk from the Washington Mall, so all the wonderful museums are in walking distance, with lots of taxis waiting out front to take you to other locations. And the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful.

Bad Door Lock
The lock on our door was not working. We found about it when after checking in and afterwards went out to eat, but someone forgot something and when we came back, the card we thought was not unlocking the door, no LED light or swirling sound. We thought it was the card, but we turned the knob and the door opened. We closed the door again and still thinking it might be the card, we still got the door opened. Wesaw a cleaner nearby, asked for help. She too can't figure out what was wrong and asked us to go to the reception for help. Just imagine if we had not come back. Anyway, they gave us another room. But the issue right now, we got two rooms and asked it has a connecting door. They don't have any available. So now my kids are staying at 10 rooms away from ours :-(
