Location, location! Just a couple of blocks’ walk to the Air and Space Museum, this property is a great value and seems popular with families. The staff was friendly and helpful. While the rooms don’t have microwaves, there are some available in the market area in the lobby. There is a Starbucks in the building, and a McDonalds and by-the-slice (or pie) pizza place on the same block for quick meal options (the downstairs bar/grill doesn’t offer much unless you just need an adult beverage). Short walk to Metro, or there are always taxis waiting outside the hotel if you’re going further afield. Note there are trains nearby; they didn’t wake me at night, though (we were on the top floor). Mattresses a little too firm for my taste. Not the most updated place, but it was clean and more than adequate for the price and we had a comfortable stay. Would visit again.

Low water pressure in the shower. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Really, you've been building hotels forever and you don't put an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Also the mattress was overly firm. What I need in a hotel is a good mattress and a decent shower. But it was conveniently located.

The location is excellent. The staff was friendly and the rooms were cleaned well. The only issues we had is that the heating unit sounded like an airplane taking off every time it turned on and the outlet under the tv kept needing to be reset. Once maintenance unplugged the refrigerator, the outlet seemed to work. Sounds like an electrical problem that needs to be fixed.
