The people were very friendly and helpful! The location is great, in between the Capitol and the Tidal Basin and near a Metro stop. The only downside is the loud train that runs by, blaring horns at 6:00 am every morning. The room was large and well appointed but could use an update on the mattresses soon.

Very convenient location. Beds are like concrete.. almost painful. Hot water very sketchy. Out of a 5 day stay only had a hot shower 2 days. Front desk was contacted and “couldn’t help”.

Everything was great with the exception of the thermostat to control the temperature in our room. It didn't work so the AC was on constantly freezing us out without the ability to control it with the non functional thermostat. When we called the front desk they immediately sent someone but his solution was to take the cover off the thermostat which turned it off completely. So, it was either full blast uncontrollable AC or no air circulation at all. I recommend getting it fixed properly so the temperature can be regulated. Other than that, it was clean, quiet, daily housekeeping and comfortable. The location made it great for sightseeing and there was always taxi service available at the door when we got tired of walking. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Somewhat older hotel. With it comes an excellent location, but a little older condition. Dining runs down to one restaurant, not our kind of food, we had to look for other options, which is uneasy. Some guests were noisy, but nothing overboard. Because of the fact we could walk to the most of the destinations, yes I would return/ recommend it.

This facility is bit dirtier and older compared to other Holiday Inn hotels I used to stay in, but price is more expensive. The only benefit I found is close location to monuments and museums.
