Always A Great Stay
Hamilton Hotel is always my go to hotel whether a quick ovwrnight stay or a weekend staycation. Although valet parking is pricey per night, the overall servixe from check in to check out is top tier. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and clean. Plenty of pillows , Great water pressure and big towels that cover your qhole body because thats important. They are located witin walking dostance from great restaurants , parks and shopping.

We had 5 people, booked two rooms with connecting door. checked in around 7pm, once I got in room1, I noticed the water bottle was opened, so I called the front desk informed them I need a replacement water, and make sure they won’t charge me extra for the water. Second, I tried to open the connecting door, I can’t open my side, the lock was broken.Third, the toilet’s seat in my room was very tears off, I can feel the plastic rubbing against my skin, while I sat on it. Fourth, the shower was horrible, I can’t change the water’s temperature, the switch was broken and only came out with very hot water. Fifth, the TV remote is not working, For my dad and my kids room (room 2), my dad told me the closet’s handle was broken and couple light were not working. Shower door needs to push really hard to open. The next day we came back to the hotel to rest around 4pm, I called the front desk informed them no one bring me a new bottle of water and asked for a technician to fix the door. One hour later, nobody came! I called the front desk again to tell them no one come to fix my door and no one bring me a new bottle of water. Finally, technician arrived to fix the connecting door’s lock, took him 20 mins and he said he can’t fix it, at least he open the lock, but we can’t lock it back. So we left it open for the rest of the night. To be honest, that’s doesn’t feel like a 4 stars hotel to me. Yes the lobby look pretty, clean and smell good. But the rooms were terrible.

The restaurant was really great, food was amazing. Happy hour was awesome, great deals. Great patio with a beautiful view of the park across the street. Within walking distance of several great restaurants, one block to the Metro! Room was great as well!

I loved the property it was convenient to alot monuments and alot to see. I didn't like that they only had one parking valet parking attendance. But the icerall stay was good.

The hotel facility was very nice. Great location and well maintained. Room was large and exactly as pictured. Areas were clean and well kept. Great area for our stay. I would have score the facility higher except a major customer service issue. Due to booking issue we asked to check out one day earlier than scheduled. The front desk said because booked through Expedia we needed to contact Expedia. That was easy. Expedia contacted the facility and they refused refund, which was reasonable. When I tried to speak with the manager on the telephone I was surprised by how rude the telephone front desk rep was. She denied that Expedia had contacted them. Asked who I spoke with at Expedia. When I read her the text from Expedia she put the manager on the phone who simply stated “no” and handed the phone back to the front desk operator who my partner said was clearly looking for a fight. All of the managers I was told were in a meeting so we checked out and voicemails went unreturned. Upon retrospect we should have gone over arrival and depart dates at check in. That was not done. We were not told about our credit until check out. It really hanged the tone of our stay. While there was nothing wrong with our stay we did not ask for any accommodations and o we looked the room not being tidied the first day. We simply asked for more towels. This is a good place if you are not looking for any luxury or service. I feel if there are billing errors you put yourself at risk.

Great location within walking distance to White House. Room was clean and house keeping daily, even though we didn’t need it. We didn’t get an offer for free room upgrade if available as promised per website, and our AC unit made a very loud noise it the wall when being in turned off. Also we were right next to elevators so that was a little bit annoying but overall everything else was great. And the hotel itself smells so good! I want to know what they use!! So good!

This property fails to mention beforehand that parking is an additional $50 a night. Luckily there are lots of cheaper parking options you can choose to store your car in and walk around the city instead. Hotel is in a great spot as many museums and monuments are close by.

I learned to choose hotel near public transportation. This hotel was just perfect! Metro 2 minutes walk (if so) bus right across the street. We booked the tour and pickup and drop off was right by the hotel as well! Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, but the staff and service were very bad. We were rushed through the check in, no information about the amenities was provided and the Expedia member status was completely dismissed as something they were not part of, even though it was part of the hotel description

The Hamilton Hotel was an excellent experience. Checking in was easy and the room was clean and nice. The character of the hotel is appealing, although it has been updated to current standards and amenities. The restaurant Zia Sophia has amazing food and drinks, especially their pasta dishes! The only drawback for me is the cost to valet park, which was $69 per day! The problem, of course, is that there are no cheaper options that are in and out. If you don't need a car, I'd Uber or cab it to save the cost of valet parking. Overall, excellent experience!

Dirty; vents with dust bunnies coming out in hallways and in room; one room’s bathroom with black floors? Dirt vs. mold? Window curtains are dusty too. Labelled 4 star - it is definitely not one. Dingy area for ice machine. Maintenance guy was unfriendly- like it was trouble for him to be called to check out tv- turned out to be not connected. Rooms were very tight. Not the said add square feet. I felt that I was misled with the description of property.
