Home base

We had a fantastic quick weekend trip to our country’s capital. This hotel is centrally located so it’s a short stroll to many of the Smithsonian Institution’s around as well as the monument’s locative in DC . We are planning on returning to our countries capital again and this is where we’ll be staying!!

I paid for my hotel in advance and checked into the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Washington, DC at 11p. When I arrived, I was told that no rooms were available. They oversold my room and provided no reasonable accommodations. Terrible customer service. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Let them know if I arrived February 21 and the room was very nice that night. I started hearing water dripping very fast from the bathroom. When I went in the water was coming from the light fixture above the tub. I let the hotel manager know, they did not recommend another room, but to have someone to come up and look at the room. He did not find anything said he would contact maintenance further. The next morning I got up to take a shower same thing had occurred, I left the hotel. Staff know that I was not going to take a shower in a bathroom, where the water was coming out of the light fixture. And they still never offered me another room. What they did offer me was for one night to be off my pill. I feel like both nights should be off my brain because of my inconvenience. No one offered me a solution. Other than to just wait and see what happens. Very disappointed.
