We had an amazing stay. Besides the one night where we didn’t have hot water to shower, everything was great. Only thing I’d change is make the buffet breakfast self serve. Having someone serving makes things awkward. Great free happy hour!

I have a lot of complaints and a few positive thinfs to say. On the positive side, the suites were well laid out and large. Having a door to close off the living room from the bedroom was very convenient. Also the bed was very comfortable. The mattress was just firm enough for me, and there were plenty of pillows. Another blanket would have been good. All of the staff was very helpful when you could get hold of them. On the negative side: You were GROSSLY understaffed on the evening of Saturday the 1st. It was a busy night but there was only one clerk at the desk, and she ended up having to run upstairs to retrieve a luggage cart for me. You are supposed to be an upscale hotel, why don't you staff it adequately The apartment was beat up. The floor was completely scratched up, a lot of the furniture had small gouges in it, all of it was completely outdated. This is what I would expect to find in a motel, not an upscale hotel. At least our room - 706 - really needs a complete update. Even the rugs in the hall looked dirty. This may be because they were old, and vacuuming isn't enough any more, but again, you should have clean and well kept-up carpets in the hallways. The parking lot was difficult to negotiate, and the signage pointing to the hotel elevator was inadequate. I orignally parked and went up into the offices, and then had to backtrack. I finally found a garage worker, who walked me over to the elevator.

The staff are friendly and welcoming! The breakfast is fabulous. And the evening happy hour is great! The Metro is conveniently located in the Chevy Chase Pavilion which makes it a super safe walking distance.

Very nice hotel in a good location

I wanted a hotel with a pool, and with breakfast included. The pool was a good size and temperature, and the hot tub was soothing after a long day of walking. Embassy Suites serves the best hotel breakfasts I have had, with made to order omelets, and a good selection of other items. The coffee is very good. The dining area is in a big, open atrium, which was a little chilly. The location was excellent in that I could get to a Metro Station and a Whole Foods via the underground parking garage. There are restaurants nearby, too. I left my car in the garage for four nights, which cost me $100. I took the Metro in to DC to do my sightseeing.

Lobby was ok and employees excellent I take my key to my suite and got very upsets the air conditioning wasn’t working,the bathtub was crack the mirror was in a corner damaged the toilet have problems when you flushed the water come up and the other 2 suites where the same where the same. So there was a problem with the plumbing of the hotel.I reported the air conditioning and the others and they didn’t came. Very Bad experience for an embassy suite very bad.I don’t recommend for the price I pay we should have better quality
