Nice hotel, reasonably priced. Very close to 2 metro stations that we used extensively. Cons: Water in shower varied between luke warm & cool, never hot. Housekeeping emptied garbages, but never replaced used glasses, or replaced towels.

CQ is an excellent value hotel in a great location. It provided easy access to Capitol Mall, museums, and Metro. The neighborhood is safe and has many great restaurants at various price points. I highly recommend Tatte, just around the corner, for interesting and delicious baked goods and meals.

Fresh air circulation is vastly important to me

It was a very nice room, but the best aspect of this room was the ability to open the window a crack to get fresh air into the room. Thank you for that ability!

Not up to CQ standards

Staff is not friendly, they seemed bothered when we made any requests. Bed was very uncomfortable (could feel the springs on your back). This location is NOT up to CQ standards. Location was excellent...but other than that would not stay here again.

Customer service was the worst I have ever seen at a hotel in this area. Room service would not clean the room and people at the front desk were very very rude and would not help with anything. I will never ever ever stay here again.

Clean and Safe. Close to White House.

Club Quarters Hotel in Washington DC is clean and safe. You have to walk by the front desk to get into the building. And you have to use your Key in the elevator to get to your floor. I am very picky about my rooms. The room was pretty, new, and very clean. It’s a little plain, but it’s not ugly. The hotel is next to a Metro stop. It is four blocks up the street from the White House, which I passed every day on my way to the National Mall, U.S. Capitol Building, etc. There is no restaurant or room service. However, there is a 7-11, French Café which includes breakfast, and a Mediterranean restaurant across the street. And a McDonald’s and sandwich place one block down on the other side of the street. I have a travel blog and travel a lot. I definitely would stay here again.

I always enjoy staying here, atmosphere is very relaxing,nice rooms, friendly, helpful staff,2 Metro's near by, within walking distance of a lot of the sites, museums.Zoo is only a couple stops away on the metro

Not worth it

Booked a king size bedroom and was surprised by 2 twin beds pushed together. Staff were very rude, if anyone was even at the front desk. When they were there wouldn’t greet you instead sucked into their personal cellphones. Room itself was up to date but hallways and lobby were outdated in poor condition. As soon as we walked out of the hotel after our first night we also had the pleasure of seeing the terminator truck hooked up to the building on our floor. Location was good for National Mall/museums, but elsewhere would have been more comfortable.

This location is not up to Club Quarters standards. Very very disappointed in the lack of customer service. Highly recommend that the staff from Club Quarters at New York - Times Square and San Francisco locations be brought in to train DC staff on customer service. Staff at front desk seem bothered and irritated whenever we requested something or had any questions, mattress was AWFUL and very uncomfortable we could feel the springs. The air vents were black and dirty and light bulbs were out in room. Walls are paper thin, heard our neighbors conversations, sneezes and coughs.

Staff charged my card multiple nights that were already paid and then got the run around for 3 days saying they needed to speak to a manager. I ended up disputing the charges with Amex and getting credit. The hotel offers nothing other than location and don’t even try to park a car. Stay anywhere else and save yourself a lot of headaches. Ended up staying at the Hyatt regency and couldn’t be happier.
