Room was very modern everything worked from the iPad in the room. Didn't like it didn't have a dedicated light in the bathroom in the middle of the night you need to turn all the lights on. Plus numbers for the room were hard to seen with the dark hallway

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially because of the smart features of the hotel — it felt modern and convenient. The room and amenities were great and made the stay comfortable. The location was also a big plus, with very easy access to the metro station. The only downside for me was the reception. The staff didn’t feel particularly welcoming, and for a 4-star hotel, I expected a more professional and friendly attitude at check-in. Another small issue was the limited access to nearby cafés and restaurants. However, it’s worth mentioning that the hotel itself offers meals and breakfast options, and you can also add breakfast to your booking plan. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would consider coming back!

I loved the decor of the lobby. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Sara was very kind and helpful with all my questions :) my daughter who was with me said it was one of the nicest hotel rooms she’s stayed at. I don’t know who the bartender was 6/7/25 in the evening but the old fashioned he made was excellent. We loved our stay and hope to come back someday!

We had a nice stay! My first time at a Citizen M and was surprised at the smaller room (think Yotel) but I didn’t need a lot of space and the room was modern, nice clean, and quiet. The staff was really great, super accommodating and friendly

Delightful, welcoming lobby with artworks and books. Feels like a sophisticated library. Room was small but exceptionally well organized with quality sheets, towels, etc. Well located for all the Smithsonian museums and the wharf.

The connected mini iPad had everything from the light to the curtains connected. There was a small mini fridge and built in storage. The hotel had umbrellas you could check out and a restaurant on site. I have stayed at citizenM before overseas and it’s always a unique experience. The room didn’t have anyone come during the weekend when we had scheduled someone to take dirty towels away but the lobby gave us fresh towels. I liked their iron room which was on our floor. The room was rather small though and a bit tight for two people getting ready. We made it work though. Still a lovely a hotel and was a decent walk to the tourist areas.

WTF elevator video not appropriate for kids or god loving people.

I loved their check in process, doesn’t feel like a money grab with unnecessary deposits. Love that you can do it yourself. And also, loved that the staff used their discretion to let us check in earlier since there were available rooms. Also LOVED their gym. We made use of it every day.

Typically I love this location and I would still stay again but this last trip was not so good Floor of room was totally buckled from water leaking out of shower or ceiling Multiple times water was dripping out of ceiling (maybe the AC) and the AC didn’t get cool/cold at all.
