Sadly there was a muddle with check-in and which facilities we could and couldn't use. Children are not allowed in the pool until after 3 pm. Also, we were served some chicken wings with coleslaw, but the slaw had gone off which was upsetting. Otherwise, the family room was a good size and the facilities when we could use them were good.

Pool and gym were ok, needed a clean around changing room and pool area. Rooms and hallways are rather dated, amenities in room are very basic. I personally would not consider this to be 4 star but more a 3 star plus.

Lovely hotel with a great pool and spa facilities to use. We were very happy with our stay, a lovely break from a long drive from Windsor. Room was very hot even with air conditioning but apart from that, can’t fault it. Food was lovely and plenty of choice and the staff were very friendly and attentive. My kids loved it here especially the pool and the pool table in the bar. Room was spotless and lovely toiletries.

A lovely hotel, bar staff lovely, however we paid for late check out, and when we were coming back to the room, we heard a cleaner swearing and irate how we hadn’t left yet and STILL in the room. we have a baby with us and paid for 1pm checkout to allow us time to relax and chill in the morning, before travelling home, and all we could hear was the cleaner frustrated that we still hadn’t left the room, when we paid for it. Wasn’t exactly quiet about being heard as when she came out the next room to ours, she realised we were at the door going back in and quickly ran into the room from being heard. seemed a little disrespectful, other than that, hotel great, spa lovely, bar was nice and relaxed, just could do with a better selection of draft larger.

We normally stay near old Trafford as we go to the United games. We struggled getting a hotel near old Trafford and just booked this hotel instead, we are so pleased we did! Wow! Beautiful clean hotel, very welcoming staff on reception, excellent friendly bar staff and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel rooms were large, modern and spotlessly clean.
