This was a comfortable place to stay, and there were only a few things I would critique. As far as the critiques go, I wish this hotel had an elevator, or some way to get luggage around besides just having to carry luggage up the stairs! Otherwise I loved that the rooms had a deck, the sunsets were beautiful and there isn’t a bad view at the place! The hotel room was very clean, and bathrooms were in fine condition. Water pressure wasn’t the best. There also wasn’t a good way to keep the water from the shower from getting all over the bathroom. There was only a small panel of glass.

Super location to enjoy Wanaka town and lakefront. Squeaky clean. Very comfortable bed. Restaurant and coffee shop part of the hotel but also lots of dining options in short walking distance. Very quiet with carefully maintained grounds. Laundry is very helpful! Would stay here again

Great place, great people. A bit warm for my taste

The people were very nice, and the location was excellent. I really appreciated the parking in the middle of overloaded Wanaka - and the stunning views from our room. But it was too hot, and the instant coffee sachets were low quality. I even had a plunger provided, but no coffee to go with it. Having said all of that, I'd think about staying there again. It was originally a 1970's/80's THC complex, but has been well looked after.

Great location just a couple of minutes walk into the town centre and the lake. Lovely staff on the front desk who were incredibly helpful. Room was a decent size with a fridge and kettle and had the added bonus of a balcony which overlooked the gardens.

I booked a suite and was glad I did. It felt very spacious and had a balcony with a (partial) lake view. The bed and sofa were comfortable, the wifi was fine, ans shower pressure/temperature good. I liked that there was a communal kitchen where guests could cook their own food, and that there was a communal laundry too (charged at low rates). This hotel is right in the heart of Wanaka, and I’d definitely book here again.

Lovely but hot

Lovely clean hotel but no air con. Quite hot in the room. Had balcony door open all night with the fan on. It was only a 28 degree day. The lady who checked us in didn’t bother to tell us where our room was, just the car park. We had to figure out where to go ourselves with no lifts either.

1. The rooms are inaccessible. If you have luggage, it is a big problem to carry them all the way to the room. Some of the rooms are located one level below. The luggage has to be carried there. There is no provision to roll it there. 2. The staff are not very helpful in providing directions and in accommodating the request to provide a room that is easily accessible for someone plots of luggage. 3. The bathroom does not have a wash basin. 4. The kitchen does not have a microwave. I wouldn’t recommend this property for families.
